This storm cause a hige tree to fall on top of my son’s house in Metairie and caused serious damage. Pls pray that insurance will pray for the whole damage repairs.
The ef1 rating tells how much damage occured. Similar to a weak hurricane. Building codes exist for a reason. Tin on 2x4s will fold like the video from a srong breeze
Lost my house and everything we owned in Katrina, Moved 100 miles inland and got hit by the 100 year flashflood in 2016 and lost everything again, We're still paying the mortgage on that house while staying with family, This Tornado passed us by less than a half mile i thought it was our last day on earth it was so bad. 🙏 I'm tired of being on national news for natural disasters 😔

Slidell isn’t really a “Hick town” though. There are some very expensive and large homes on acres of land there.

That's one reason I would never live in Texas, the heat waves hurricanes, they have it all! That's a hell of building to be destroyed!
