- The IIT Madras BSc programme from #IITMadras, the first-of-its-kind initiative in the world, now comes with an option for a four-year BS Degree in Data Science & Applications. It is designed to offer multiple entry & exit options for students.
As a part of this programme, students can also do an 8-month apprenticeship or a project with companies or research institutes. There is no age limit. Anyone who has studied English and Mathematics in Class X is eligible to apply.

@@aaryav1805.gangrade yeah but it isn't something like ignou that will provide degrees like anything, you will have normal degree like what IIT madras provides to campus students. If you have studied honestly you'll have knowledge as well. So win win situation, even iit degree from your residence.

I am in 2nd year student of graduation. I hadn't clear iit jee. I belongs from very poor family in a village. I got know about iit in mid of my class 12th.....thanka sir for giving a chance students like us. We will prove we can still achieve greater things

@@radhekrishna9265 don't spread wrong massage,total fees for 4 year is 3.5lakh approx,and students who's family income is less than 1lakh per annum will get 75 percent scholarship,and less than 5lpa will get 50 percent fee waiver.

Are IIT Madras online BS degree students allowed to take part in IIT Madras's fest and events like Shaastra and Saarang, inter-iit meets and student exchange programs just like on campus IIT students?
Yest it is allowed to enter but not participate but yes a separate fest organised in which students can participate

This is very sad, people from USA cannot apply for this. USA is not listed in the exam cities. I don't understand why it's called online if you cannot conduct everything online.

After passing you will be alumni of iit madras. So obv they have to assist. Iit M is a brand and not a XYZ pvt college.
And the exposure and teachers will surely enable you to get a decent package. And maybe a great package if u r determined.
@@MaheshRP1214 if you r talking about brand then hear this. IIM Ahmedabad launched an online MBA program. It costs the same as regular flagship MBA from IIM Ahmedabad that is 20 lakhs as tution fees. Students who have completed the course we're not provided with any internship or placement support. They also said they will provide but they didn't. I am not asking them to make us sit in campus placements but atleast help students in making a bridge between students and companies

The first batch(2020) of this course students got graduated this year with an avg salary of 25 lakh per annum in companies like delloite, Tata communications ,adobe etc. While around 850 students got admissions in prestigious universities in abroad .

Students who are currently in Class 12 can also apply and secure admission to the programme. Those who get admissions will start the programme after successfully completing their Class 12. Students from any stream can enrol. There is no age limit. Anyone who has studied English and Mathematics in Class 10 is eligible to apply. As the classes are conducted online, there is also no geographic limit.

Anybody can take admission in it literally anybody you just need to clear that shit easy qualifier, how can you even expect it to be offline, how can you be even thinking about placement support from college, guys you are just paying for a piece of paper of iit madras online(highlight this) degree which you can learn and even get a job without paying this much and investing your huge four years.
