The wet race tyre glitch seems to be a thing for the moment,had 3 wet races on f124 so far & all have started on slicks & in the set up,you can’t change to intermediates,also the qualifying is a bit iffy where you fail the practice & you still get the full resource points
The difference in speed between overtake and even medium (let alone none) is absolutely ridiculous. Seems like the game is basically engine management simulator.
This is shaping up to be one of the worst F1 games ever. Career mode is so bad, terrible decisions by AI. Zero safety cars or red flags. Absolutely no strategy, every race is a one stop with every car using the same two sets of tires and boxing on the same laps. Zzzzzz
Drs is far too weak, FAR too weak. The handling is one thing The AI’s poor use of ERS and low racecraft is another But the fact drs is too weak is so fkn bad I dont think I’ll be getting this one till it’s fixed
AARAVA has the exact same issue at this track on his recent video, he had rain but ethe game forced everyone onto soft, he had to force himself in the pits on lap 1 to force change to inters
I think the weather issue is more of a tyre delta glitch. I had exact same conditions in quali at Australia. It said dries were 3.4s faster than inters. I in an RB was 4.5s faster than the AI, I used inters they used dries. I’m assuming because the delta says the dries are faster, the AI assume that’s correct and use them

The first 3 races are easier because the AI is worse I could win with a Williams in Australia and jeddah and in Bahrain get a top 8 (with 110 AI) From china onwards it got difficult beating Albon Miami was a Desaster So good luck there 😊
They didn't. Watch Jarno's initial videos. He says without a doubt the most realistic AI ever on these games. I think people just can't admit that they suck at racing games the closer to sim they get (Not that F1 is even close) Lando says the driving physics/realism is in a different league in a positive way compared to all the game cycles he have tried. Pratts should play Need for speed or Mario Kart.
Game is currently bugged, no AI crashes, Safety cars ect or Failures of any kind. Also do you have track surface feedback turned on? Doesn't appear so. Takes some of the fun out of it if that's turned down or off completely.
You still don't know how the delta works in qualifying when choosing tires... The new tires being 1.4s quicker means if you went on a new lap with those old tires compared to a new lap with new tires. You lucked out in the video but again, it's not how that Delta option works.

Yeah, the a AI literally don't crash. Don't cause Yellow flags. Don't cause red flags. You can have it on as high as you want. It doesn't matter also Any time the qualifying or race is wet the tires are bugged and the ai stays out on drys thanks ea for messing up everything like you always do..

I’m pretty sure that this is only if you use the wet tyres though. The reason there hasn’t been a major distinction irl is because when drs is disabled it’s too wet for the dry tyres, so everyone will have used wets or inters in that race

This glitch only seems to be affecting PC players from what I've seen. All of my races on console, have the right tyres at the right time.
