    Great review but I worry when you touch mains side components.
    Did you measure efficiency and power factor?
    Would like a review on a good 48V 10A supply to power RuiDeng DPS5015 (Great supply but can kill 48V input)

    • @robojax
      @robojax  5 лет назад +2

      no I did not look at efficiency because the input was AC.
      the RuiDeng DPS5015 was on my list for long time, but it is too expensive and I could not afford to buy it.

    Really useful test, thanks for that. Could you also test ripple and noise at different currents? Would be nice to see how effective the filtering is, and could it be used for sensitive devices. Thanks!

    • @robojax
      @robojax  3 года назад +3

      in some of videos I did test and it seems very few people cared about it. So I stopped measuring the ripple. I will consider that in my future tests. This product is done, no one will watch it if I make new video on this module.

      P=IxV, P=power, i=Current in A, V=Voltage. Power of this module P=IxV=24x6=144W or 24x4=96W. Please watch the video and see if get current that results to 120W. if so, then yes. I don't remember it as I have done 100s of more videos after this.

    I would like to ask what is the efficiency of this power supply module.
    And if i connect a buck converter in it and set at 14.4V and 8A would it work or does the module smoke????. Btw thanks for your reviews. Its awesome

    • @robojax
      @robojax  3 года назад +1

      to connect "in it" where? I assume you know at the output. I have it on the title and explained in the video that output maximum is 4-6A at 24V. I did not understand 14.4V is the input or output of your module. but regardless if your module does not accept 24V, then don't connect it.

    • @robojax
      @robojax  4 года назад +1

      if both voltage is exactly the same like 24.1 and 24.1 yet. but if you get 24.5 and 24.3 then 5-3=200mV will flow one to the other and that causes the module to heat up.

      this is converter from AC to DC. Yes you can. it is made for this purpose to be used. However I have not used it. I would suggest leaving it ON for 1 or 2 days in safe place like on concrete, outside living spaces to if it catches fire, nothing is harmed. Then use it. this is just advise and you have to use your own discretion. .
