Great review but I worry when you touch mains side components. Did you measure efficiency and power factor? Would like a review on a good 48V 10A supply to power RuiDeng DPS5015 (Great supply but can kill 48V input)
no I did not look at efficiency because the input was AC. the RuiDeng DPS5015 was on my list for long time, but it is too expensive and I could not afford to buy it.
Really useful test, thanks for that. Could you also test ripple and noise at different currents? Would be nice to see how effective the filtering is, and could it be used for sensitive devices. Thanks!
in some of videos I did test and it seems very few people cared about it. So I stopped measuring the ripple. I will consider that in my future tests. This product is done, no one will watch it if I make new video on this module.
P=IxV, P=power, i=Current in A, V=Voltage. Power of this module P=IxV=24x6=144W or 24x4=96W. Please watch the video and see if get current that results to 120W. if so, then yes. I don't remember it as I have done 100s of more videos after this.
I wonder the HF Noise of these SMPS will affect my Amplifier.. Can You Make A review if which is better power supply of audio amplifier, Linear or SMPS?? Thanks you Sir for your response
Any other alternative for this module? it shut down when drained 5A even though it is advertised as 4A~6A. it's popular and i thought it is reliable before watching your test
I would like to ask what is the efficiency of this power supply module. And if i connect a buck converter in it and set at 14.4V and 8A would it work or does the module smoke????. Btw thanks for your reviews. Its awesome
to connect "in it" where? I assume you know at the output. I have it on the title and explained in the video that output maximum is 4-6A at 24V. I did not understand 14.4V is the input or output of your module. but regardless if your module does not accept 24V, then don't connect it.
please can you say if using a metal box connected to the power supply ground could dissipate this temperature issue and increase the usage time, i look forward to receiving your feedback thank you very much
if both voltage is exactly the same like 24.1 and 24.1 yet. but if you get 24.5 and 24.3 then 5-3=200mV will flow one to the other and that causes the module to heat up.
this is designed and all components have been selected for that particular voltage. you can't change it. Get actual boost converters. I have videos on that.
size of the motor does not matter. see how much current it needs at 24V. this module is 24V and see how much current it handled in my test as I don't remember. I've got over 440 videos. so i don't remember numbers.
this is converter from AC to DC. Yes you can. it is made for this purpose to be used. However I have not used it. I would suggest leaving it ON for 1 or 2 days in safe place like on concrete, outside living spaces to if it catches fire, nothing is harmed. Then use it. this is just advise and you have to use your own discretion. .

So, this power supply will run on North America 240V?
In Canada we have 120V and it should work

Hi, what is the value of the fuse? Please I need it, thanks
Thank you!

Please use your multimeter and check the heatsink and GND . if they are connected yes you can use it.
good review
you are welcome.
What value does the fuse on the primary side have? Really hoping to get an answer to you sir..
It does the job a fuse when the current reaches beyond the limit, it acts.
Hi excellent video.. Can I connect two of these in parallel and take 8A @ 24V? Will these get damaged?

Robojax ok. I better use a bigger one then. Thanks.

What are the turn ratios of windings? The primary, the secondary and the auxiliary?
We don't know. We are just using it. Do't try building it. It is so cheap, I believe if you try to build it would cost more than buying it.
@@robojax Im not trying to rebuild ti but im very intretrested in winding turn ratios in that transformer! Btw thanks for a reply! Nice video!
Yes. that is interesting. I did not try to tear it down. Thank you. Ahmad
we use 220v here in South Africa and the ones i can buy says it can hold 9A
your home voltage does not matter. Read the tittle. power is 4A to 6A. See what my test shows I don't remember.
Hi, if I want output 24V AC, what modify can I do ?
Can't do it. you need totally different module and this won't be useful.
hello, can this module be grounded so that it is not noise, if possible where it is located?
Unfortunately the manufacturer is unknown and no information is available for this item.
@@robojax ok thx for replys
Wingoneer is the manufactuter possibly.
@@BJaca-tn3om No, they are just suppliers.
Can i use this for tpa3116d2 amplifier board..how will perform it🤔

hello, sir how to put adjustable voltage output for this smps?
this is fixed 24V output. you can buy other versions. Search on eBay or Aliexpress

like we say 12v to 24 adjustable?

Do you use your cell phone as thermal cam? is it possible? i think phone cam hasn't got a hardware for thermal measurement.
I have a thermal camera called "Seek" which can be attached to phone.
how i can make it adjustable from zero to 30 volt?
you need total redesign. will not work.
@@robojax they make the power supply oh the laptop 19 volts it works good from zero till 30 volts
Sir, can i use this for amplifier 24v, and use for a quiet long time? Lets say one day used..

Hope that it would work out
Yes. Hope for the best.
not working dc power supply
Of course it should not work. It need 100 to 240V AC at input yo work
how can i support you

do you mean AC has noise? it is strange.

I think what is the source's fault
