A scene from the Transformers G1 cartoon episode 'The Ultimate Doom' (part three) recreated with Masterpiece figures from Hasbro, Takara and 3rd party.
My longest video so far! It's such a great sequence, with some fantastic dialogue, that I felt it was worth a little extra work to have the 'complete' segment. As a result I think it feels more like a mini movie than ever before. Hence the movie style poster!
As usual, everything has been rebuilt frame by frame; backgrounds have been cleaned up and given added depth, effects are remade from scratch, and cel animation has been tidied and stabilised - all elements are better and sharper than in the original!
EDIT Somehow I lost the opening credit for Brawn (Badcube Brawny) during my final cut, and failed to notice! So I have added a quick caption for him over the title card, hopefully not too conspicuous...

I can't see! Too much water has welled up in my eyes! Don't ask me why this always happens...because I cannot give a logical explanation. The only thing that I can think to say is that the amount of love and respect that is put into your work is tangibly evident! Every time I watch one of your videos, I immediately get taken back in time to when I was a kid, watching these episodes for the very first time on television. I remember quite vividly always racing home on Sunday mornings after church to watch new episodes of the first season at 9:30 a.m.! To quote Brawn from later on in the mini-series: "Mushy, but true!"

I agree. You show a lot of respect and love for the source material. I’m very glad to see you pull off a long video. It’s such a great sequence with a pretty big cast. You’ve even managed to include the impossible toys tetrajets. Someday hasbro will either be paying you or outright copying this idea. Your work is tremendous.

As a nitpicky byproduct of your extremely hard work, YOUR renditions of this classic won’t feature so many of those character continuity and coloring errors that this show is famous for! 😂🤣 like a blue Optimus prime of a millions starscreams carrying energon cubes!

Outstanding job on this animated short.
As the developers of Bumblebee betray us and plan to go bayformers this is a very refreshing and well needed homage to Transformers that actually has Transformers in it :P

This is just outstanding man. I would love to see a behind the scenes look at how you make this happen. I suppose it’s like asking for the colonial’s secret recipe but I am so fascinated at how the toys interact with the backgrounds.

That breakout from Deception headquarters was one of my favorite scenes in the whole series. The Autobots totally outclassed the Decepticons in their own base.
These are an obvious labor of love...
Does anyone else want to see a transformers cartoon where the humans are traditionally animated, but the Autobots and Decepticons are CG?

Man. Ultimate Doom was sooo good. Part 2 and 3 were just so dark. I felt that part three had some of the best animation and key frames (poses) in the whole series. Barring the animation errors, the music and editing in season 1 were phenomenal. And the fact you "re-crafted" such a masterpiece says a lot to your skillset. You sir, deserve all the awards. Thank you. From all of us.

P.S. How is Daniel alive? There’s no atmosphere on Cybertron. He should be freezing and unable to breath. LOL
Sunset Rider Daniel is alive cause at the time of this episode, Cybertron was in Earths atmosphere, therefore he wouldn’t have any problems, although how far up Cybertron is it should still be pretty cold up there,

-misses the tallest Autobot in the room while he's standing perfectly still
-stands around doing nothing repeatedly while the Autobots attempt to escape
-inadvertently creates an escape for his target instead of taking advantage of the Autobot's being trapped
Remember, Megatron put _this guy_ in charge of Cybertron while he was away.
This was so much fun to watch. I am blown away by how good this is! I feel 9 yrs old again watching it (guh I'm old lol). Keep up the amazing work!
