Ashiya Doman is the rival of Abe no Seimei. The Lightning god he transforms into is Raijin (God of Lightning,Thunder and Storms), who was born from Izanami's (Goddess of Death and Creation) corpse in Yomi.
Not really, he sunmons the 8 Lightning Gods of Yomi(Ooikadzuchi, Honoikadzuchi, Kuroikadzuchi, Sakuikadzuchi, Wakaikadzuchi, Tuschiikadzuchi, Naruikadzuchi, Fusuikadzuchi ).
Normally it's annoying when they reuse a soundtrack but since kashin or Otakemaru is possessing doman the theme kinda fits. Other than the new region theme and the new music you briefly hear when fighting doman since his human form doesn't last too long, I'm hoping we'll get more new music for the final dlc and they need to go all out with the true final fight against Otakemaru. Still this dlc was overall enjoyable and longer than the tengus disciple.
And for God's sake, the first boss gives a pretty strong first impression with how cool her attacks are. Granted, her mission's pretty short, but still.
@@Xunizal yeah she was really cool. When she grabs you and just simply puts her sword away like in anime I wasn't even mad. Such a cool fight. She kinda gives me Vergil vibes.

And what I especially love is that the attack where she does multiple Vergil slashes around herself can actually be obtained for your single sword. Got it during a random co-op sesh. Granted, I can't really use it since I'm running a fist build at the moment, but the fact that I can have a taste of her sick moveset is lovely.
From what I know, the fox may have possessed lady chacha after it escaped. From the mission after, there was an Amrita memory of a woman saying, “lady chacha is acting weird, like she’s a completely different person.”
actually as it turns out in the end of this mission Kashin Koji was present in this fight as he was possessing Ashiya Douman and leaves his body after we defeat him.
The ending to this dlc makes me think that the DLC chapters are a journey to find a way to permanently kill Otakemaru EDIT: ALSO I JUST NOTICE! WHAT IS WITH THAT SKILL POINT COUNTER!?
You might be onto something, if we werent going farther and farther back in time. Unless we are going to kill him in the past, thust killing him in the future as well, causing a Paradox. I hate time travel plots.

Take this from someone who has beaten the game all the way to Dream of the Nioh and beaten all of the Underworld's floors. In all of my playtime, across several builds, I have never attained anywhere NEAR the number of skill points this guy has. The most likely conclusion is that he somehow tampered with the game. Given the guy's tendency to use summons, I wouldn't put it past him to, indeed, tamper with the game. All in all, I find the number of skill points HELLA SUS.

Even though he may be cheating with that number or maybe some glitch, the player is mechanically not very good at the game, slow ki pulses, and just poor movement but you can tell he's playing on the default difficulty likely cause of the health pool of the boss.

Yorimitsu and Doman both don't seem "cliche" by any stretch relative to the main series human fights. The former uses shit tons of purity, Soul Core summoning like you, and in Empowered State is probably the single fastest boss in the game, the latter is unique for being basically a keepaway/zoner boss in a series where most bosses run at you. Tsuchigumo and the Eight Lightning Gods are both brand new Gods with brand new movesets. That's what, four new bosses, in one of three DLCs in a $25 Season Pass?
