yes through changing the speed of the fans, this is the closest thing to changing anything about the tnt's I found through an awesome create mod youtuber called kwizzle, maybe he is more of assistance than I am, hope it helps!

can you make the turrets go up and down and make it more compact

I dont use create mod anymore, but the issue with making it go up and down was (assuming you mean diagonally facing upwards or downwards and not just vertically moving the turret up and down): to fire the tnt you needed the turret to NOT be an entity, so you cant have it move diagonally in any direction, only 90 degrees increments.
but to have the same effect of diagonally facing you could attempt to change the speed of the fans. And to more it more compact I do think with the new updates someone has figured out how to do this but I personally wont be touching create for a while, also check out create cannons if you haven't heard of that. Hope this helps!

i just wanted to know because i wanted to make something my self(well technically you make it) for a submarine. Also why wont you use the create mod anymore?
