- There is so much to the Vision Pro, but this is what it's like to use visionOS.

So why can’t this run mac apps or have a desktop mode/app? It even has a M2 mac chip.
Is this a new computing platform or just a mac accessory to get some widgets and ipad apps around you?

🤦🏻♂️
Aside from the cost, I just don’t see this as being a device for routine daily tasks/work.
Interesting. I haven’t had to force close any Apple. Wondering what size storage you have. If it’s 250gb
yep, 256.
Thank you for sharing. I believe this will be the future
I'm still not sold.
Did you experience dizziness after prolong wearing?@@JerrySchulze
The headphones arms pop off with a SIM card ejector tool.
It’s just the best pass through money can buy.
yes, probably.
Sounds like this has the same issue as iPad's, perfect for one person, but useless for families. Great video!
Thanks for checking it out.
You just paid $4000 to be a Guinea pig bro
Me too, it’s so awesome 🙋♂️
Thanks for the review Jerry. I'm old school (literally) so I'm sticking with my conventional monitor and Mac desktop. I'm sure I can find other shiny new tech toys to spend $4K on.
Good choice, for now at least.
Making the front a solar system for recharging is a very good idea, i don't wanna show my digital eyes lol
interesting! I am not sure about direct sun use case, though.
Lol, exactly! A bit of solar to work with indoor lights could give the Vision Pro's battery a little nudge-think of it as a mini power saver, maybe adding a precious few minutes. Every bit helps! 😄
5:01 I can relate lol, the first couple days I spent walking around the windows, before getting comfortable with the fact I can walk right through them. Also, glad you mentioned the lens flare, definitely have been experiencing it also, but hasn't been something talked about too much online. Also I think the pass through quality has more to do with the foveated rendering, the vision pro does by rendering only what you're directly looking at to save processing power. Personally I haven't experienced any major bugs and system crashes, just a couple small bugs in certain apps. The biggest down sides imo with the vision pro are 1) the weight, while not terrible and I can use comfortably for a few hours with the solo knit band, could definitely be reduced in future versions, and 2) as you mentioned, it is a highly personable device, something that can't be easily shared or experienced with other people. It would be nice if multiple apple vision pros could be daisy chained if watching a movie or doing something you would want to do with other people, and also if one vision pro could have multiple user accounts.
Ya, the flare is really disappointing when watching movies in immersive or theater mode.
Really wish it was able to connect multiple vision pro's to share a single environment (see the same windows / apps)
You look perfectly normal when wearing it. The EyeSight display on the front makes it look like you're not wearing anything at all. It's magic!
lol
You’re slowly becoming one of my favorite tech youtubers, Jerry! Keep going! Love the content!
Wow, thanks so much!
👍
ahhh, that force quit tip was helpful. I too have been removing battery to close apps 😆
Glad it helped!
Thumbs up for being the first person to point out the “Force Quit” option. That being said, why the heck is there even a “force quit” option available?!
lol, IDK, but I have used it quite a few times.
