RIP, Howard Mudd. You were a terrific coach. Held all the boys accountable, and kept a cool attitude. You are missed, sir. 🙏🏻

alot of times, he wouldn't even bother standing there, waiting to block the guy....he'd go looking for him and give him a good pop.

1956 uni’s were the best. Wish we seen the home uni’s from 1956

The Detroit Lions and getting blown out by some team on Thanksgiving. An American tradition like no other.

The Lions offense under Mariucci was sooooooo conservative.

I agree. The referees should have thrown a flag on that play.

Hey do you by chance have the ads? I'm looking for the old commercial with Barry Sanders and a bunch of players imitating his juke. Can't find it anywhere

Just like six days before this, the team from Indianapolis beat the team from Detroit… The difference this time is that the fans in Detroit weren’t sore losers about it and did not throw beer and other objects at the players in the game’s waning moments.

Difference with an all pro qb vs average to mediocre nfl qb and Roy Williams drops so much passes.

I was there. Miserable Colts scored every time they had the ball. Neal down on last 3 downs. 46 to 9 win.

Unfortunately for Waine Bacon, that would be his first and only INT, and he would be out of the league the following year.

@@donaldcummings8407 Manning didn't have a GOOD defense until he went to Denver. He carried the Colts to all those SDC wins for a decade. Put him on a GOOD defensive team and even an average O team and he's got a half dozen SB rings. Brady had both good offenses and defenses at NE; put him on the '00 Colts and he'd be lucky with 10-6 seasons. Colts never had a good referee team like the NE team either.
