I have a love/hate relationship with my 3d printer. When it gets clogged i hate it lol. Great video. Nice smooth takeoff. I got a big fpv ship on the hot wire cnc right now. Trying to relearn inav at the moment for that autolaunch.

Hi Nate I've been pretty lucky with my 3d printers I've only had them clog once. Have a big release coming for the hot wire cutter soon with new software and firmware. 32-bit boards and early next year wifi with FluidNC and a customised web interface. Looking into laser cutters now the diode ones are getting better and good enough for plane building. I have Inav and Auto Launch working great on my Volantex Ranger they are all amazed at the club when I put the transmitter down and chuck it and off it goes. I can highly recommend Darren ruclips.net/p/PLtuty5zAsZ_aKbk9h9hbVG-TySq1W4C14&si=Ar7eRpR7cGMB45OY he's one of the developers and following his guide it works fab.

Great video as always Keith. Superb flying shots and interesting aerial views of the field it's like an Ireland 🙂. The V Wing is awesome and seeing in reality as well as on the field it is truly a great platform for FPV. I have never seen such a stable wing in flight before and with a large flight envelope.
The launch dolly is interesting also, I will have to have a look at that to see if it will be possible to make one for the larger scale gliders.
Great job and many happy flights and successful landings

Yes, it's good but not very forgiving. But there are some great designs around 😀

      I used my Creality Ender 5 S1 which did a brilliant job.😀

"Carbon" PLA appears to be regular PLA, but giving a matte finish instead of shiny. Have you tried a foaming PLA-LW ( Light Weight ) ?
Does your drone have a 'Follow Me' mode? And, will that enable it to chase the Wing?

Not tried PLA--LW yet but I have 2 rolls ready to try. Going to try them on the Eclipson Cobra jet. The Mini 3 Pro does have follow-me mode and I did try to use it. But it says only people and vehicles when I tried to use it. The wing isn't big enough for it to lock onto. I intended to use it for the starter trolly take-offs but it just wouldn't do it. It's a shame because it would have been great to watch.😀
