    I have a Player P like that with maple fingerboard. I just ordered a green Player P Plus. I’m not usually an active bass fan either. Your comparison confirms that I will probably like it. If they didn’t put a passive switch on it though, I wouldn’t consider it.

    Thumb's up passive 🎸🎸

    I feel the Fender Plus is a little "metallic", but I believe it is due to the difference in the wood on the fingerboard as well.
    I loved the fender plus look, those new colors are beautiful.

    Great comparison. I have a Player P bass with maple fingerboard. I just ordered a jade P plus like that one. Your comparison confirms this was a good move.

    How do the necks compare? Like in feel, are they the same size?

    Awesome presentation! You're making it hard to decide with these last few vids. Thanks Anthony!

    Great demo. The player plus sound more snappy and sparkly than passive player P without loose the Fender P vibe.

      cause it has maple fretboard which is more snappy

    In my opinion,the highmass-bridge,do not so much more sustain,but it makes the feel on the strings,by fingestyle playin,tighter!🤟

      I notice that as well. However I also notice some sustain difference.. but I always ask the question how long do need a note to sustain for. As bassists we're generally not playing things that are held out too long. (lol, I'll prob get a ton of comments as to why I'm wrong). Thanks for watching - Anthony

    I’ll buy in Fender’s next release granting they add a passive tone!

    Outstanding that Anthony from Empire Music is doing well. The Fender's Player Plus Series Precision and Jazz Bass is Wonderful. The Price is very Reasonable not to Expensive just Comfortable.

    Hello! Do you know if the Player Plus neck fits a "normal" Fender body? Thanks!

    Did you record through an amp, or direct into the interface?? Sounds like there's a cabinet involved here... :)

    if the player plus basses had a passive tone control like the american ultra or other brands have, they would be perfect..

    • @EmpireMusicPgh
      @EmpireMusicPgh  7 месяцев назад

      I Agree. However, I still feel this basses really excel in active. The passive option is just for an emergency situation and great to have. Thanks for watching - Anthony

      @StraiyEU 7 месяцев назад

      @@EmpireMusicPgh yeah, they're meant to be played active, but the buzzing on my bass when i crank up the treble is just insane... i turned the treble on my amp down to 3, so its pretty ok now, if i use both pickups or when im just messing around with the single coil by itself...
