Elephant is without a shadow of a doubt. The hardest mission in the game, especially to S rank. Especially since you gotta use rapid deployment tactics and just say. F it. Bring order to chaos first. Then the rest. I have a story for this one. Back when I was first playing through the game. I was patrolling the place trying to find the last shooter. (Loadout is heavy ceramic armour. Ballistic mask. Helmet. Primary. G36c rifle and the 5-7 as secondary) I play with subtitles on and I heard a few sounds from the kitchen. So I threw a flash, saw a pained yell and went in. Turned out the last shooter barricaded himself in there and nearly dropped me. But he went down first. My choice of rifle saved my life during that encounter. But finished the mission with an f rank. (Many civies were gunned down due to me being a RON Noob)
@@ChrisTHECOP I'm not knocking you down or anything. Just sharing my experience with Elephant. (Also. I'm a big fan of the mp5 myself. Especially since its been a weapon of choice for the SAS for years.) Hopefully. Rust Belt goes a bit smoother as the mp5 should be able to handle whatever Rust Belt throws at you.
@ChrisTHECOP I guess obviously it's a universal practice in law enforcement... I just heard it from him first during the stoneman Douglas HS incident. Was what I meant.
hi Chris, the reason for why your officers were stressed is because of the level itself. no matter how perfect your run was, your team will recieve a certain amount of stress in Elephant
Yeah, but I just don't understand what this mechanic is trying to simulate. In the real world most SWAT officers are seasoned patrol veterans and know what they are getting into.
@ChrisTHECOP I'm not going to try disputing your personal experience. What I will say is that seeing these large scale attacks multiple times over the course of a week would (or at least should) absolutely take a mental toll. From a gameplay perspective? My guess is that its to force the player to rotate team members, losing experienced ones to therapy for upwards of three missions, and having to go in with less experienced ones while they wait it out
I understand both Chris's view and the developer's view. From the dev's perspective, they want to promote the awareness of mental health, how some police officer will have gone through in real life after responding to some call out, maybe they might have to pull the trigger and take away someone's life regardless of they want to do it or not (well, they just do their job) and got trauma after that. Devs just want us to appreciate of what these officers do to protect and serve us to stay safe and some of them might suffer to PTSD afterward. That's why devs implemented this system to the game and uploaded 5 videos in their YT channel about Mental Health Awareness Month in May. From Chris's perspective, just like him said, those officers are well trained and know what they're doing. Seeing the SWAT AI are stress after completed the mission feels a little bit unrealistic as the real SWAT operators are already prepared of what they're going to do. I guess.
Would it be possible Sir that you can host a "Ready or Not", training bootcamp, and Train us gamers how "SWAT" operates in a game perspective, (without messing with the SWAT secrets of course) just in-game, That way we can immerse ourselves, build a team, and of course keep singing your praises that you were our training commander. heheheh Just an Idea. =)
17:30 I heard one of them during the mission said he shot and killed civilian, maybe that's why Also wanted to ask, what is that difference between real life and game that even when you use real life swat tactics its just not as good as it would be irl? I also heard about enemy ai being too good at shooting, is that the case?
The skill level of the enemies actually depends on the situation. For example a mission with ex-military or PMC's will likely be better shots than a meth head. That being said, a bullet is still a bullet, so if the enemy gets lucky you can absolutely get 1 tapped.
In this level, if you go around shouting, the shooters may pretend to be victims by screaming for help in response. Caught me off gaurd a few times because of it. I guess that was their point.
3:51 WTF game? Unauthorize use of force?? Friendly fire?? WDYM??? The suspect committed active shooter first, isn't that the case why ROE can be shoot on sight? BTW Chris, if you're going to continue 1990 challenge, are you interest to switch to MP5SD? After the Dark Water DLC update, they add the MP5SD2 which is the integrated silencer into MP5. I think that might help you reduce the length of barrel and help you utilize the gun in CQB area better. no more gun point up when you're close to the wall.
I’ve commented on a lot of your videos in a very vitriolic and snide manner almost entirely because of your profession which I have a deep hatred of but despite what I think It was childish, petty, rude, and completely unacceptable of me to judge you without knowing anything about you and be an asshole towards you when you haven’t done anything wrong to me numerous times you’ve called out bad policing such as Uvalde yet I still painted you with the same brush as I did them and i shouldn’t have it was unfair and dishonest of me to do so when you’ve called out the bad and spent your life fighting for something you believe in so I deeply apologize for how wrong I was to treat you the way I have and I’m sorry for everything bad I’ve said about you

Yeah, you almost have to use current gear but I did it with an MP5, lol...

Awe thank you...
These missions are tough
Yup. That's what Grady Judd of the Polk County Sheriff's office said. They just go right in.
LOL

it's the only level in RoN that executes this feature
@@fanec1122 Its honestly great attention to detail imo.

You need to be on Discord because I am thinking about it...
@ looking forward boss… will join your discord… :)
Flash bags are back again and to be realistic you should have waited outside for an hour and arrested anyone who tried to get in to save their kids
Hmmm, going to take that as sarcasm and I believe I acknowledged what happened in Ulvade.
Awesome video. I hope you will play more missions.
More coming...

You can't do everything real life in the game based on the limitations of the game.
In this level, if you go around shouting, the shooters may pretend to be victims by screaming for help in response.

Right on the ROEs. And cool, I will take a look...
17:28 gee I wonder if it’s because a teenager got killed….
Don't know but very unrealistic...

That's when the all came to me...
