HILARIOUS! Even in his old age, Moe was an absolute comic genius. Thanks for providing!
It's sad that Moe and Mike are no longer with us. Both gave the world so many things to remember.
Moe Howard....one of the greatest. NIAGRA FALLS....SLOWLY I TURNED....this is a really old bit. But I would have been honored to have been in this skit with Moe Howard.
That skit scared the heck out of me...thought Moe was going to fall and injure himself but NO...he was a true professional and trooper.
even at the age he was during this show, he still had it - still had the timing, this is wonderful video- thank you
Love this! Didn't Moe still was alive when
the Mike Douglas show was running!
Fantastic!
Its funny that Moe played the bully of the bunch. I understand they were all exceptionally nice to fans but he seems like a very kind person.
He’s so amazing
@@Nash1a THEIR* fans
@@AceripXF Really? You are going to ATTEMPT and FAIL to correct me on a 4 year old comment?!?!?! Wow. Maybe consider whether you read the comment incorrectly. "nice to their fans" is no more correct that "nice to fans." Possessiveness is not required. Also maybe consider that if no one else has "corrected" a comment in FOUR YEARS, then maybe it does not need correcting. Maybe consider that next time. Idiot.
Nothing more heartwarming than watching Moe poke an eye.
Wow he had such vitality when he performed, just listen to his voice compared to before the skit. This guy had acting in every fiber of his being right up until the end.
"I was wild with rage." Flawless Moe.
2016 and the stooges never get old... god blessed them all..
i know i still watch them and they still funny is hell to me
I have all 8 volumes of their shorts.
Still funny in 2020
@@christianhafer9819 me too! Got every short that curly, Larry & moe did!
@@fraserkemp1830 Don't forget Shemp.
Moe really was born to entertain. and he did !
Thanks for the memories. My grandfather knew the original stooges when they visited the LASCO Co. in Los Angeles, Ca. They were the nicest honest men around.
Dan Taormino I envy your grandfather Dan. How awesome would it have been to meet the Three Stooges. Did you ever get the chance to meet them?
When I was a kid (early '80's), my brother James and I used to get the aluminum foil and a wire hanger (homemade rabbit ears) just to watch the Three Stooges at 1am. We did this often, sneaking up so early! It took the tv like 10 minutes just to warm up, but it was worth it! Thanks for posting!!!
I just watched this for the first time. This was so Awesome and Hysterical!!! What a Wonderful clip!!! Thanks.
Could never thank Mike Douglas enough for having Moe to be part of his show before he had to go to a better place...
Wow, that's right,
I remember seeing him on The Mike Douglas Show, year's ago. It was very nice of him, to have Moe Howard on, considering, I think I remember hearing that Moe wasn't treaded with much respect from Those So called big shot movie producers, as he got older.
And if that really happened, Then shame on them.
God Rest Your Soul,
Mr. Howard, 🙏🌹
I would Always have given You Respect 👍
The better place is the afterlife.
OMG LMAO at Moe to see him preforming thats kit at 75 or 6 that's too funny! Thanks for posting his appearces on the mike douglas show. ^_^ 5 stars
NIAGRA FALLS!!!!
It’s very nice as well but the thing is Julie Newmar was in this. I think Batman thought that Catwoman was cheating on him for Moe. Lol
Niagara Falls !!!! Slowly I turn, Step by Step , Inch By Inch.... Lol love Moe..
Sharmel Mitchell NIAGARA FALLS!!!!!
I haven't seen that skit in ages! I don't remember the Julie Newmar appearance, but I will from now on! Wow!
I bet Adam West was watching that in 1973 because it’ll be funnier if Adam caught Julie mating with Moe
this is so cool I live in Amsterdam and work near Gloversville and I'm going to Albany today, I would have never guessed he knew of these places.
It's pretty amazing isn't it, that these relatively small towns of today were regular stops for the very famous names on the vaudeville comedy circuit of the 1920's through the early 1940's? I wish there was such a thing as time travel so that we all could have witnessed these brilliant comedians when they were undeniably known as the funniest in America, if not the world.
Why wouldnt he, he’s from new york.
Who else remembers staying up on New Years Eve to watch the Three Stooges Marathons on either WSBK out of Boston or on WPIX out of NYC? Such great memories of classic comedy very rarely seen these days.
NIAGARA FALLS! That never gets old
How can you NOT like this?
Moe looks as thrilled as can be.
Matthew Kessler. He's adorable!!
😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
@@isacece1334 always
Mike Douglas is a good sport
I had come home to see this live!
A comedy classic that will live forever.
Even in his old age, Moe can still kick peoples butts
OMG! I had forgotten that one. This shows us what a Craft comedy was back then. An Art form actually.
Woah! Moe Howard and Hal LIndsay and Julie Newmar. What a great skit!
Paul Delgadillo actually that's singer Roger king of the road miller
Thank you for the post.
Wow! Great Stuff!
A lot of fun to see and hear Moe in the 1970s.
Glad that he hung around long enough to make these appearances.
One of the three greatest comedians of the 20th century
Moe Howard appearances on The Mike Douglas Show in 1973,, Moe, despite his age here, was in great form as he
chatted with Mike about Three Stooges History and recreated classic Stooges Moments.. Moe passed away peacefully 4 May 1975 r.i.p
I'm another one of those supposedly few female Stooges fans. I even remember when Larry & Moe passed away within months of each other ... broke my heart, it did.
GREAT I Clapped along with the audience, loved it cheers
In the early 1970s,Moe was a frequent guest on Mike Douglas. In these shows he did skits with Mike and whoever the other guest was that day...skits that we all know he did with his original partners years before.
Must've been surreal for him.
The Stooges are timeless comedians! I raised my son on them! He loved them as much as me!
i love them too they still funny to me
Moe Howard on the Mike Douglas show ...priceless!
Add in Roger Miller and Julie Newmar and you can’t go wrong.
Thanks for sharing these great memories.
Almost 100 years ago they were formed, and still wildly popular. Now that's impressive.
This was funny! I was busting up laughing!
Greatest Actor all the way to the end. He never lost it.
Your greatly missed Moe, and fondly thought of.
1:43 Why did I have a dream of this several nights ago?!?!?!??! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
Moe Howard, Mike, Roger Miller and Julie Newmar all were top-notch here! Moe especially.
That's awesome!! Thank you for the upload.
God bless Moe
I’ve heard Julie Newmar is in this because of how beautiful she looks, and Moe, well, I think he’s a lucky one to meet her.
i love that he mentions albany, gloversville, and amsterdam (ny) in this skit, thats my backyard!
Yup me too
Slowly I turned...I have heard this joke since I was about three I am now 50...STILL makes me laugh!! Ture comedy NEVER gets OLD!!! :-D
I've been watching the Stooges for over 50 years, and I never get tired of them. I regret that for a time I only lived a few miles from Moe & Larry when they were in the Woodland Hills retirement home, and never tried to see them or simply send them a card...
I always watched the Three Stooges as a kid. I also watched the cartoon version later. The Stooges were true icons of slapstick comedy. As a kid, you laughed because they were funny. As an adult, I laugh because they are STILL funny! I also appreciate them because they were such talented men. They were genius. I truly miss Moe, Larry, Curly, and Shemp. May they all Rest in Peace.
I saw that original skit - when I was a little girl & didn’t understand it .
Now I do !
Am I the only one who thinks it's hilarious that "Travel Niagara Falls" is in the related videos section?
My Father use to laugh so hard, I laughed at him, and he thought I was laughing at the ,3, Stooges.😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
lol
lol
They had the original "Niagra Falls" version on MeTv yesterday. Classic!
My dad first showed me the Three Stooges when I was 11 and ever since then I still watch them and enjoy there comedy. Sometimes I wish I was younger back then when they were around so I could meet them
A friend of mine (when I went to school in Houston during the mid '70's) went to see Larry Fine in a nursing home in California shortly before his death. He said he was very congenial and happy to see them!
Dale Andrews that's awesome!
wow he is GOOD!!!! my chest and stomach hurt from laughing at him from most of these episodes!!! i love moe!!! at his age he is amazing!!!
THANKS!!!! Love you Moe! My favorite stooge but I love them all!!
I had never seen these shows, But I grew up watching the video's of their skits. I'm only 28, but I can connect to this so much more than the idea of comedy these days! lol, I will always love the 3 stooges!
If Niagara Falls gets him this riled up, I dare not imagine if you mentioned the Angel Falls...
Wow, he looked so old and funny!
,
This, I believe, was 1973, which would make Moe 75 or so. Moe died in '75. He was a performer to the very end.
Comedy with out the fithy language is still funny!
I wondered who that extremely tall woman was till I realized it was Julie Newmar!
I mist some how but man i loved it was great to see Moe the stooges where the best there ever was and will be comedy today should watch no bad language just pure comedy need i say more
I agree with you. I know many female Stooge fans, I being one of them myself. Those goofy guys have been a part of my life since I was a baby. Love them!
Now, the Stoogaholic heritage has passed down to my sons. My 21 yr old son can imitate Curley and it makes me laugh everytime he does those antics.
NIAGARA FALLS slowly I turned step by step inch by inch
I've always Loved The Three Stooges since I was a kid, back in the early 1960,s.
I've never stopped being a
Three Stooges fan, in fact,
I have in it's Original Box,s from many yrs ago,
The 3 Stooges Fully Bendable Figure,s.
They were So so Funny,
God Rest Their Souls 🙏🌹
Moe Howard was a classic funny man . He was one of a kind .he was the leader of the greatest comdy teams ever . The Three Stooges . Moe maybe gone but he will allways live forever . Moe Howard (June 19, 1897 -- May 4, 1975)
The great Roger Miller was a real added bonus to this clip
I love moe Howard I really do
Great old routine and it's great that they ended with Julie Newmar. She always had a presence on stage. Simply amazing.
I think the dislike is Batman because he thinks that Catwoman was cheating on him for her Stooge friend
I love how Moe react to Mike it's so hilarious 😆😆😆
Moe is the KING
Roger Miller was a great in his time, in country music....King of the Road was one of his big hits...
Classic stuff. I just introduced my boys to the stooges and they love them too!
OMG IS THAT CATWOMAN!
what's funny is my 8 and 7 year old nephews love the 3 stooges and don't say Niagara falls around them
I did this skit in a talent show a few years back!
kiDD1963: I found out from one of the commenters on this page and after watching a biography movie of them,
he passed away in May of 1975. My God if
I had known he was still alive I would have written letters to him (since they didn't have e-mail back then) and thanked him for all the laughter. Opportunity missed. God rest his dear soul and all the Stooges that made us laugh. They were Laughter Angels sent from God to keep us happy on this miserable planet!!
Marlene Ansley -Well said Marlene.
I have the full DVD collection of every short they ever made. Something like around 200 shorts. My favorite comedians for sure!
So so I. 190, I believe.
i remember a long time ago I ask my uncle curly and Larry always gets banged up all the time but he told me Moe always catch it too sometimes.
So simple...so funny. Never gets old.
Newmar also appeared in guest roles on numerous TV dramas and sitcoms throughout the 1960's and '70's, including "Bewitched," "Get Smart," "The Monkees" and "The Twilight Zone," but will be most remembered for her role as the sexy, felonious feline counterpart to Adam West's "Batman."
This makes me laugh all the time. XD So perfect to have Gents without cent and Three little pirates be reenacted on the talk show.
Niagara Falls!!!! Slowly I turn...Step by step...Inch by inch...!
Moe is the best.
HOLY--!! A surprise cameo by none other than THE Cat Woman: Julie Newmar! It's my guess that if you are watching this Moe Howard clip, you are of an age, that you may also recall this Lady. Lot's of 6-11 year old boys had our first hints of the still awakening and mysterious "physical attractions" with this woman, although we didn't even know what we were feeling yet. Me and my friends always hoped secretly for an episode of Batman that week featuring the Cat Woman.
Just as all subsequent Bonds have been held up against the standard of Sean Connery as the "only real Bond," all of the women who played the Cat Woman down through the ages, have had to be compared to the original Cat Woman, Julie Newmar, in the minds of those who watched this minx set the bar so high, that no others thereafter, could seriously compete. It wasn't just her looks, it was her entire "Cat Woman persona." She just had a "certain something" that forever defined who Cat Woman was, and how she should be played.
I bet Adam West was watching this episode because I bet Julie misses Moe
Good Ole Moe, "He's still got it." The way he and LarryFine can remember all those old stories and names after so many, many long years. Guess they didn't have alzheimers back then. May all the Stooges Rest in Peace, their antics will carry on and on. They could never have imagined in the next millenium that kids would still be immitating "The Curly Shuffle". My 10 year old grandson does a decent one!!!!
Wow, Julie Newmar...what a sweetie!!
Newmar and Howard together
great stuff
If I were part of that gig, I would go like "Why, you cowards. You were just afraid because I only said Niagara Falls - 🤐🙊!"
Curly died in 1952, Larry and Moe both died in 1975. Shemp died in 1955, Emil died in 1998, Joe Besser died in 1988, and Curly Joe died in 1993. So, in the case, of the originals they all died over 30 years ago.
Moe was the BEST!!!!!!
MOE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent! LOL
DEAR GOD GIVE US BACK MOE HOWARD IN RETURN WILL GIVE U OPRAH WINFREY !!!!
The best comment ever heard on you tube IMHO...HY
I notice God said "No Deal".
More like bring 4 stooges back in exchange for Oprah Winfrey and Rosie O Donnell. Sorry, no offense to anyone. Just only saying.
amen hallelujah
Moe Howard, Mike Douglas, Soupy Sales & Julie Newmar are performing the "Slowly I Turn" comedy routine.
Actually, that was Roger Miller who shown up near the end of the sketch prior to Julie Newmar.
Talented man.
The woman is cat woman in batman tv serie from 70s
60's....
Yes! The one and only Julie Newmar!!!
Oh god she is cheating on Batman and he will kick Moe’s ass
So when I was a kid I did not miss an episode of the three Stooges. I miss that time of innocence.
This was back when talk shows were really talk shows. The host interviewed people, there was interaction with the guests...I do enjoy watching idiots on Jerry Springer, but as far as entertainment goes, Mike Douglas, Phil Donahue, and countless local TV talk show hosts of the past were the best.
My mom grew up with the Stooges and she love them and still does.
