The movie is directed by the talented Arun Matheswaran (Rocky & Lily), who also wrote the story and screenplay.

The dhanush eyes says a lot in this movie. Awesome acting by dhanush.
Highly recommend checking out 'Sapta Sagaradaache Ello: Side A&B' 💙❤️ both available on prime. It's one of the best Indian films of recent times, offering a truly engaging and moving experience. Just a heads up, though - the film has a slower pace, but it's definitely worth your time. Looking forward to seeing your take on it!

The movie is really good, although it's not the usual style of the director and is filmed more commercially. But the movie is genuinely good.

Sanam Teri Kasam is a very nice romantic drama.
Highway is a must watch, I think Jaby will end up watching it because he has watched and liked other movies by Imtiaz Ali
Ramaiyya Vastavaiyya is the remake of Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana (Telugu, directorial debut of Prabhudeva) so it would be better to watch the original

Underwhelming but not bad.
Chithha is overrated. The script is messy, don't know which direction to go in then ends up being just a cliché "let's catch the bad guy". And contradictory in the end (Nimisha's feminist speech complaining how it's always about a man's revenge rather than about the victim... but that's literally the angle of the whole movie so calling it out makes no sense)
Also Jaby absolutely hates the topic of sexual assault in movies so I don't think he'll want to sit through a movie that is only about p*dophilia, and on top of it a movie that IMO feels exploitative at times.
Get lost and watch Hanuman, pushpa, KGF etc
