Greetings. I'm glad you are here. This community has beings at different stages of their journey, you are amongst friends. Your journey will be personal to you, so you must develop you inner listening skills. This feeling that you have been led here is a sign that you are listening. Follow that. It will always tell you whether you are on the path or straying away from it. To pay more attention, you have to listen to your dreams too, and follow what feels right. Learn to trust your inner voice. In African culture, dreams are the ancestors speaking, or your guides, or your higher self. On this channel you will find ways to understand what they are saying. Watch the video 'Call of the ancestors: African metaphysics of destiny'. It gives a general map of the stages you encounter on the path. Make yourself at home here, amongst family.
The most rudimentary way to begin connecting is by creating a shrine or ancestral altar. It can be as small or big as you like. But it should contain all of the elements to create a sort of welcome mat for your ancestors and the Gods & Goddesses to come down and take up residence in, in order to speak with you. Another way of saying it, is that you are calling them on the phone for a more DIRECT form of communication. Fire, could be a candle Earth, could be a stone, stick, dirt, etc Air, incense (used to purify the space) Water- bowl and cup of water for pouring libation as you invoke them. White cloth (color for Ancestors) to lay these items on. Ask them to guide you as to what to put on the shrine from each of the elements. As time goes on they will direct you as to what to incorporate or what to remove, if need be. Another way is to do the libation outside where the elements are naturally, just bring the water :) 😇🙏🏽😇
@viviandanuor3625 Yes. They also have to choose you. Not everyone inherits those abilities, that's why people usually only initiate after being called into the practice of being a diviner.
I had the underwater dream as a child which sangomas get It's a symbol representation of being born of a virgin or Virgo constellation The fish and bars are shown which is related to being born again or christened by spirit Only when I drew the dream in a picture did I make the connection 😂 The bone oricle system or divination system is based on the stars and each system has an energy which is distinct and particular to the system I wish I had known sooner as it would have saved me a lot of heartache
Brother i have a question about reincarnation, can one be reborn into different cultures, e.g i have a friend who got to see his past lives , he was once a tree , african and all now he's Indian. What does African wisdom say??
The way I was taught in ATR African traditional religion. Is that you do not incarnate outside of your race. We’re ancestral bloodline. The soul takes on the body that can hold it according to a specific DNA. I know you did not ask me, but I wanted to answer this question. I’m an African American & Native Spiritualist as well as Yogi ! India is an originally a Melanated land. It’s very possible your friend has some great great relative that has connection so that’s why. Also it’s important to know the original manifestation of the Cosmic divine energies known as the Deva & Devi ( Hindu gods / goddess’s ) manifested as PURE BLACKNESS!
@@RootsOfConjure Correct, my brother. It's seems that most/all indigenous cultures share the same foundations. I'm from one of the many communities in Kenya, and the principles as you've stated them are the same in my culture. The cosmic divinity is pure blackness, which is the highest frequency. In fact our priesthood are labelled by the colour black, called "Njiru".
Just to add on to what Roots above me has said, the general rule is that people are are reborn into one particular culture or bloodline, and this is because you and the members of your family or culture are part of the same soul group. You share the same source, essence and DNA, meaning that your on the same frequency bandwidth. I have never had a case of people incarnating into different bloodlines or cultures. I'm from the AGikuyu people of Kenya and this is how it works within our culture, and many others on the African continent that I've studied. During your life time, your righteous ancestors guide you (provided you allow them to) because they know you intimately and care for you, and want to see certain bloodline destinies fulfilled through you. This is partly the reason behind certain talents and abilities running through certain families. It's also the science/spirituality behind the concept of 'generational curses', which essentially is the inheritance of energetic imbalances among different generations of a bloodline across time. Likewise, when you pass on, you will also guide your descendants and other members of your bloodline the same way your ancestors guided you. So now you see why its doesn't spiritually make sense to reincarnate into different cultures. Keep in mind though.. not all ancestors are righteous/good spirits.
@MELODYMapper-sz6fv, this is a great question, reincarnation in African wisdom is complex and touches many things such as the nature of the self, and time. But to touch on it a little bit, In the Ifa tradition specifically, but also across others, similar to what @RootsOfConjure and @kim1570 have mentioned, it’s believed that reincarnation generally occurs within the same bloodline or cultural lineage. This is because the soul, or "Ori" in Yoruba belief, is thought to be tied to the specific DNA and spiritual essence of a particular lineage. Your soul is part of a collective energy that is shared with your ancestors, and it’s this connection that guides reincarnation within the same cultural group. @RootsOfConjure brought up an interesting point about India being originally a melanated land, and how that might explain your friend's experience. This aligns with the idea that there could be deep ancestral or spiritual ties that transcend immediate cultural boundaries. These connections allow for exceptions in how reincarnation is experienced, especially in spiritual traditions that recognize the interconnectedness of all life. @kim1570 also mentioned that in many African cultures, like the Kikuyu, reincarnation is understood to be tied to one's soul group and frequency, which supports the idea of staying within the same cultural or bloodline lineage. The idea that ancestors guide their descendants, ensuring that certain destinies are fulfilled, shows the importance of these familial and cultural connections across lifetimes. While African wisdom traditionally supports reincarnation within one's lineage, there’s room to consider unique spiritual experiences, like your friend’s, that may suggest a broader perspective. While the norm is reincarnation within the same bloodline, spiritual connections that cross cultural boundaries could explain exceptions to this rule. Look out for my next video where I get into this subject matter more deeply.
@house_of_horus Asé. I was also thinking about the same thing yesterday, and I felt like the thought that came to me about this topic was a download, but y'all can investigate further. I'm also Kenyan, from the Kisii people and as Africans, we name our children after departed loved ones. The download that I got was that, that's how our loved ones reincarnate, so it's highly unlikely to reincarnate outside the bloodline.
I will be doing more divination videos to give more overarching information. In terms of materials, which system do you want to learn about, then I can recommend some reading if I have for that system.
There are many ways to do this depending on culture, for instance in most of traditional Africa, you brew alcohol and offer it to them at a sacred place then feast and celebrate throughout the night. This is widespread throughout Africa. In our modern setting, you have a focal point, like an altar, pick out a unique beverage, offer it in a ceremonial cup plate and celebrate. It's not only about asking, sometimes you do that to thank them, or letting them know about current family events etc. These things build a deeper connection between you and them.
Thank you. Regarding the name, I chose 'Horus' for its aesthetics and how it sounds in 'House of Horus.' The Greek rendition Heru (Hr.w) is still Hr.w, adapted to a different language. In the same way that speaking English instead of Swahili doesn't diminish our Africanness, using 'Horus' instead of 'Heru' doesn't change the essence of what the name represents.
@@house_of_horus Osirus was changed by the Greeks from the Kemetic Ausar. Isis was again changed Auset-Kemetic. Finally Horus was changed from the Kemetic Heru. These are the terms found in the spiritual studies of Kemetic history. I perfer to educate our Ancient history and not those of Greek when today many of the European and others not of African origin continue to deprive us of the truth. I love your channel and use it often to share historical info to put our contibutions back on the map. Thanks for being present
@@saakhu3984 I understand your perspective and why you see things that way, and it's valid. As a historian, details like these are crucial to your work, and it's important to maintain that focus. On the other hand, as a metaphysician, my use of "Thoth" or "Djeuty" isn't grounded in historical reasons. The energy, entity, or deity remains consistent, transcending cultures and names. Remember, the Greeks studied under the ancient Khemites, which is why their language includes the neters. So, I can use these names freely, as they are just different labels for the same African deity. In metaphysics, changing the name doesn’t alter the essence unless it reflects a different attribute. Horus and Heru, for instance, point to the same reality because we're viewing them from the deity's perspective-eternal and beyond time, spanning different epochs and cultures. We're not viewing them from a human perspective. If someone seeks historical context, they'll delve into the etymology. Similarly, I use "Egypt" or "Khem" interchangeably because my focus is on teaching metaphysics, not history. It's like how I refer to the ancient Mwenemutapa Empire, now Zimbabwe. I might use "Zimbabwe" unless the context requires the ancient name. Everyone knows where Egypt is and understands what I mean when I mention ancient Egypt or Horus, that is what is important for my work. My emphasis is on metaphysics, leaving the historical details to historians like you. Thank you for your support and the important work you do. I value you, which is why I take the time to respond. Please keep up the great work!

Thank you. I haven't heard that word before, but it could have to do with the sonic frequency of the word, many words of power are like that, so if you do not find it's meaning, do not worry.
Very interesting!!! I have a question. Will there be a time when we as Afrikans, can use these practices to rid ourselves, and the continent, from the "Colonial Forces" that have wreaked havoc on the Continent? Thanks for your response.
Yes indeed Selassie, the process of ridding ourselves and the continent from the "Colonial Forces" is already in motion. Just as in Zimbabwe, where revered spirit mediums like Ambuya Nehanda and Sekuru Kaguvi called upon ancestral wisdom to lead the fight for liberation, today’s resurgence of indigenous practices and spiritual consciousness is a continuation of that struggle. The fact that you ask this question, that you carry this consciousness, is evidence of the awakening happening across the consciousness of Afrikans, not just on the continent, but those outside of it too. We are reconnecting with our roots, reviving our languages, customs, and spiritual practices. This resurgence is part of a larger process of decolonization, which involves not only political and economic liberation but also the reclaiming of our minds and spirits. It’s a process that requires patience and persistence. Just as the war songs and sacred music carried ancestral wisdom in times of struggle, today, the voices of the conscious and awakened are echoing, laying the groundwork for future generations. This consciousness is spreading, and with it, the strength to dismantle the remnants of colonial influence, piece by piece. We are in the midst of this transformation, guided by the spirits of our ancestors and the wisdom they left behind.
@@house_of_horus Peace and Blessings!!! Yes, I can see clearly that the AWAKENING is in FULL FORCE, in Afrika and in the Diaspora! One Perfect Arfikan Love!!!
Your question is not worded properly. What lesser beings are you talking about, and what is the nature of the covenants you imply, further, which traditions are you speaking on?
@house_of_horus in the video, you mention that the information gained from deciphiring sacred objects comes from spirits, my question is, given that there are monitering and malicious spirits how does one differentiate the intent? Importantly, what is in it for the other party by parting with spiritual information? Can only good come from such practices? I doubt it.
@@deeplydeeplydope1111 Thank you for the clarity. There are many beings recognized in African traditions. Seers, shamans, priests, and elders before us have over the millenia put together mappings on what sort of beings do what. This has been distilled in the rich corpus of African traditions. We know what the Orisa are, we know what each Netjer requires in terms of rituals, what they get from it, and what they give. Nothing is asked of you to divine other than the specific path you have to travel to gain that understanding, whether it's a calling, or scholarship such like what is required in Ifa, or the call ‘thwasa’ in Nguni mediumship divination. There are Beings in the corpus of African traditions, in southern Africa they are called Njuzu, or water sprites. These spirits are alien and non-human, they will kidnap you in exchange for healing gifts. This is known and spoken about in lore. Everything is spoken about. There are no hidden covenants we do not know about. San shamans have been going into the spirit world doing battle way before the might dynasties of Kemet rose. Mapping and documenting in their stories, lore and teachings. All this to say, African wisdom and knowledge systems are extremely sophisticated. We do not get blindsided by things we have been dealing with for thousands of years

I find it very helpful for those to help others to or who are looking for guidance... But yet if those people just took a moment to look at themselves into go within they would know who and what they truly are therefore they wouldn't have to travel the world find somebody to tell them they want to hear... We are all healers in our own way, and there are those who are still close-minded and who are scared to go within themselves, and ravish their own energy........does that make sense????..... Because they've been taught that way as a child, and from what our ancestors had known had been lost for many many of thousands of years..... Unless you live not in the United States, or if you came from a family that was already well open-minded you'd have a clue of what was already going on in this world.....
In African traditions, it is believed that the soul can take various paths after death. These paths include being reborn, becoming an ancestor, wandering the spiritual realms, engaging in spiritual work, facing judgment, or returning to the source of the soul. The specific path taken depends on the individual soul.
More women are divine in these traditions than shown here! The graphic visuals are skewed erroneously here towards men as diviners but the knowledge is just ok.

But understand this: House of Horus, and the people here exist outside that world of Jesus, Satan, Moses, Abraham, and others. We are not swayed by threats from religions younger than the ancient knowledge of Indigenous Africa. The fear in your words tells me one thing: your mind is in bondage. The Judaic worldview is a chain around you, with fear as the lock and key. The power to free yourself is within you-you just need the courage to leave it all behind and reconnect with your true legacy, the one left to you by your ancestors. If you choose to continue worshipping Jesus, that is your right. However, do not think you are doing others a favor by convincing them to abandon their traditions, knowledge, and spirituality. Threatening them with a hell from a culture not their own does them no service; in fact, it does the opposite.

Fire, could be a candle
Earth, could be a stone, stick, dirt, etc
Air, incense (used to purify the space)
Water- bowl and cup of water for pouring libation as you invoke them.
White cloth (color for Ancestors) to lay these items on.
Ask them to guide you as to what to put on the shrine from each of the elements. As time goes on they will direct you as to what to incorporate or what to remove, if need be.
Another way is to do the libation outside where the elements are naturally, just bring the water :)

Brother i have a question about reincarnation, can one be reborn into different cultures, e.g i have a friend who got to see his past lives , he was once a tree , african and all now he's Indian. What does African wisdom say??
The way I was taught in ATR
African traditional religion.
This is what has been calling me. How do I learn more about African divination? Can you recommend any books or other materials?
I will be doing more divination videos to give more overarching information. In terms of materials, which system do you want to learn about, then I can recommend some reading if I have for that system.

Please Sir, how can we connect with our ancestors and asked for their enlightened spirits, guidance and wisdom
@@house_of_horus Ok Sir thanks, I'm from the coastal areas of Cameroon
Great info and presentation. Why do you use Horus-Greek? and not
Heru khemet?
These are the terms found in the spiritual studies of
Kemetic history.

Awesome what a time to be alive 🥗
Yes indeed..
Very interesting!!! I have a question. Will there be a time when we as Afrikans, can use these practices to rid ourselves, and the continent, from the "Colonial Forces" that have wreaked havoc on the Continent? Thanks for your response.
Of course!!
We are in the midst of this transformation, guided by the spirits of our ancestors and the wisdom they left behind.

how is this different to creating covenants with lesser beings?
can only good come from these practices? I highly doubt it
Your question is not worded properly.
I doubt it.
@house_of_horus & what i mean by covenants is, what is given as exchange for the information imparted by the spirit onto the person deciphering it?

It makes sense, thank you for giving us your thoughts.

What happened to the soul after you die ?
In African traditions, it is believed that the soul can take various paths after death. These paths include being reborn, becoming an ancestor, wandering the spiritual realms, engaging in spiritual work, facing judgment, or returning to the source of the soul. The specific path taken depends on the individual soul.

I sense a deep fear in your words, directed towards Satan, who is merely a rebellious figure in Judaic mythology. I can sense your fear, and my heart goes out to you.
