To extract these name we must use some functions which is mention below:-
1) LEFT() - is used to extract substring from a string side , starting from the left-most character.
Syntax of LEN -
2) RIGHT() - is used to extract substring from a string side , starting from the right-most character.
Syntax of RIGHT - RIGHT( text, [number_of_characters] )
3) MID() - is used to extract substring from a string.
Syntax of MID - MID( text, start_position, number_of_characters )
4) LEN() - is used to count the number of character in cell.
Syntax of LEN - LEN( text )
5) FIND() -function returns the location of a substring in a string.
Syntax of FIND - FIND( substring, string, [start_position] )
How to divide first and last name in excel:-
A) To extract first name we use - Len formula with find formula.
B) To extract middle name we use - Mid formula with find formula.
C) To extract last name we use - Right formula with find formula.
It is a very difficult task to anyone. If you are really interested to learn this trick then this video never lets you down.

here you use multiple times of find with " " for last and specially for middle word.. its not clear could you please explain how this formula working .. logical point.. how do we know that how many times we will use find and sometimes using +1 and sometimes using -1

Calculate how many times your names has spaces . if its 3 then you should to use three times. what +1 Does? When ever you find space then it goes to second alphabet like "Ashish Rawat" .. so first find space then it takes r and -2 is used to remove the last space count
Hi Sir,
I have implemented all three formulas but I have a question in RIGHT formula. As u shown that we have to extract the length of the text then we have to minus the space characters right?. But as we can see there are two space characters. So the FIND function will find the space characters and then minus them. But which one space character will minus first and from where (either from right or from left). Please suggest.

End part of the formula =FIND(" ",D4,FIND(" ",D4)+1) ....In this formula second Find ( which gives you "3" and we put +1 also in this formula it means overall output is 4 ) works before first find ( Now this find search a space from 4 position so that next space position is 11 you can count it manually also.
