Thanks for this video compilation. As it turns out, my mother's favorite actor was Cary Grant, so I knew that he was the recipient of Mae's "Come up and see me" line. This is one of my favorite Mae quotes: "Ten men waiting for me at the door? Send one of them home; I'm tired." I don't know where it came from. Though her quotes were considered risque at her time, Mae got laughs from them--she's getting them from me!
This woman was a one off not to be duplicated. Her delivery on these lines was masterful, And man, she was an awesome looking lady.
