I disagree, the Denver Nuggets are what they are, playing them later on would’ve allowed us to get back Vando and Wood. We saw how we struggle to find matchups for Jokic in the non AD minutes, Rui is good but giving Jokic as a defensive assignment is hurting his offensive production and is a mismatch for Jokic every single time. I’m not saying Vando would’ve stopped Jokic, but he is better defensively than Rui and is also a bigger body, plus that would allow Rui to be fresh on offence. Also, we lack bench scoring, Wood can come off the bench and hit a couple corner threes, and he is also a big body which helps with our defensive boards.
