Well it was very vague even in the novel. But we all know they were in love and together with madam rong. I'd love to read their story even if it's a tragedy. A tragedy of swordsmith and a hero. That'd be a good story. The novel fleshed out three named swords by RCC but was never mentioned in the drama so sad

Even when being given everything he'd ever wanted, to be officially recognized as his son, Scorpion still looks so conflicted because on the one hand he gets what he wanted, but on the other he now knows what kind of man Zhao Jing is and how he mistreats Scorpion, and he despises him nonetheless. (At least that's how I interpret his looks in this episode)

They had all pretty much separated and met back up at the end due to circumstance of the 'Heroes' going after Ghost Valley (He didn't even have the key because he threw it away before the story even began!). There was really nothing quite so duplicitous in the novel. Chengming was able to finally fight and showed that he was a capable student that learned from BOTH of them! (boy was fighting DIRTY, as Wen Kexing taught him to survive not just defend himself)

They had all pretty much separated and met back up at the end due to circumstance of the 'Heroes' going after Ghost Valley (He didn't even have the key because he threw it away before the story even began!). There was really nothing quite so duplicitous in the novel. Chengming was able to finally fight and showed that he was a capable student that learned from BOTH of them! (boy was fighting DIRTY, as Wen Kexing taught him to survive not just defend himself)

What makes this scene EVEN more beautiful is that zzs's "save it" is not the correct translation. What he actually said is " you are my person" as in you are the person born for me, the one who completes me, my lifelong partner, soulmate etc. ❤

I loved how Zishu jumped in after him without any hesitation i was kinda expecting Kexing to pull a Yuna and summoned something to whisk him and Zishu away lol but Ye Baiyi was summoned instead
