    Quick thought on question #1 of this study. Isn't the answer you got in the video the percentage of the water used at a fire? The question from the study asked for the percentage of the water left in the tank. :D I may be reading it wrong, but i did plug in the other number and rounded to 56%.

      It confused me as well. I think he goofed up and just didn't see the final part of the question. He had one more step to subtract 100% - 45% = 55% to find out the remaining amount of water in Engine 5. These video's are great otherwise :D

      I had this exact same thought. "What is the percentage LEFT in the tank?" So we used 45% and what's left is 55%. I feel like these questions will be what separates the people that get into that high score and above-average scores.

    Hey bud, all of these videos really, really helped me out to brush up on all of that high school geometry, theorems, algebraic equations that I've not used in two decades! Thank you brother, I studied your videos religiously, and although I passed all of the pre-employment checks for one county, I just got dumped into a queue pool and was told to wait. But shoot, a county even closer to me was hiring a few months later, so now I'm just doing it all over again, fingers crossed that second time's the charm!
    Nonetheless, I am so grateful for all of your guidance and all of the videos that you have made, I'm sure it was a much more difficult task for people who didn't have these kinds of resources. You are the man for helping all of us! Kudos!
    Sincerest thanks to everything you have done!

    For number 4 why not just do 22 - 10 = 12

      The question doesn't explicitly say all the firefighters are present at the training.

      @@joshriley4560 I’m my opinion it wasn’t that bad. I think the only questions I did get wrong were on math which was my weak point. I brushed up on it enough to where I was confident I would get the majority right. Take up the whole testing time and don’t leave anything blank. You got this!

      @@mike_pertz is it possible to fail the math portion and pass the rest? I'm in Maryland. I'm assuming the math portion isn't the majority but a percentage of the overall test.

    Where do you get the question sheets for these questions?

  • @anthonygreen9844
    @anthonygreen9844 3 года назад

    To simplify #3 and similar questions- percentages become decimal by moving decimal over two sports (88% =.88).. for this problem your formula is- X (total questions) times .88= 132. Solve for x! Thanks for posting these videos!
