Thank you so much for volunteering your time to help prospective firefighters/ems out!! I haven't done any of this since high school in the early 2000's and forgot most of it. My NFSI test is on Saturday and I feel way more prepared than I did two months ago!
These videos are by far the best on youtube. The way you present the information and explain it in the easiest way possible has been incredibly beneficial to not only me but the countless other viewers who are preparing for their career in fire/ems. Thank you for the time and effort you put into these videos.

I think you may be wrong on problem 8. 5/7 to decimal to nearest 10th is .71... not 71.42.. example 5 slices of pizza from a 7 slice pizza does not equal 71pizzas plus .42 slices.
He wrote the problem out wrong compared to the pdf . He converted the .71 into a percentage. So the percentage was 71.42% but yeah the problem asked to convert only to a decimal.. not a percentage

On question 14. If we are using PEMDAS we would multiply 4.2x2.48 = 10.416. 10.6 - 10.416 + 27. You subtracted 10.6 from 10.416 first but with PEMDAS addition is before subtraction. So wouldn’t we add 10.416 + 27 first? Or does the order not matter with addition and subtraction it’s whichever one is first in the problem? Hope my question makes sense thanks!
Are the practice exams the departments suggest studying pretty similar to the actual test? They referred me to a website with practice tests on it, but I am not sure if I should expect the real exam to be similar or expect it to be completely different with type if questions not shown at all on the practice ones.
6 can't go into 3, so when you are thinking LEAST common, you are just looking at the numbers themselves. Just like if you had 3 & 7, then the LEAST common denominator would be 21. (3x1=3, 3x2=6, 3x3=9, 3x4=12, 3x5=15, 3x6=18, 3x7=21) and then (7x1=7, 7x2=14, 7x3=21) see how it's the LEAST COMMON? Unsure if that helped. Im not a math teacher, but tryin' to help ya out how I can.
