but it is not even showing realtek audio when i click the arrow on sound audio and gamae controllers,what to do.i am forced to restart everytime i open my lappy from sleep (after 1-2 hours),then only audio is working otherwise it is showing that mute symbol only

wow, this got solved in no time. I had the Nvidia driver so i was unsure (coz i understand nothing about a computer) but it worked none the less. Of you have Nvidia driver, please follow the same steps. Thanks a ton man. Really appreciate it.

@@s0litud3GT I honestly have no idea. I was never able to replace my sound card so I just bought a USB to Aux jack converter

In mine, it's showing "Intel(R) Display Audio" and after updating it, it didn't fixed my sound problem.
