  • SNRG is making great progress on a large sustainable housing development in one of the highest profile regeneration schemes in the UK.
West Works at Longbridge, on the former site of the iconic MG Rover car factory in Birmingham, will include 215 EPC A-rated all-electric homes connected to the SNRG SmartGrid.
SNRG is working in partnership with St Modwen Homes to fund the rooftop solar, communal battery storage and optimisation platform.
Residents on the fully-funded SmartGrid will not only contribute to a cleaner, greener future, but also save at least 15% on their electricity bills and enjoy a lifetime of protection against volatile energy prices.
A unique feature of the SNRG SmartGrid is to allow those without a driveway to have their EV charging included on their household electricity bill provided by SNRG. This will potentially save residents without a driveway, but with an on-premises EV charger, thousands of pounds a year compared to public EV charging prices.
The first showhomes are complete and the full development will be finished in 2028.
