Don’t mind the negative comments. You’re providing a great interview that we wouldn’t have otherwise; you were obviously just excited about the technology.

Great content. Caitlyn explains everything very well in layman's terms and I agree that microgrids are not only the future but in fact is the "now".

I greatly appreciated the informative video. I am enthusiastic about implementing energy appraisals in New Brunswick, Canada, utilizing microgrid techniques. I would be grateful if Schneider could provide support in realizing this concept. Your expertise in this area would be invaluable.

You mentioned the "automatic transfer switch" but she started to talk about the industry moving towards "smart [and motor?] automatic breakers." What exactly did she mean?
Thank you again for the content. After your first video we drove down to Menifee and took a tour of the Kb Homes👍

Is there a template we can use to see if a MicroGrid is viable, before I vesting in Engineers and Consultants?

How do secure who you want to be?!! I like PoE wiring but it's pretty useless only for a specfic product and why in BMS systems I would like to make it easier.

Isn’t anyone with net metering, solar, battery backup a MICRO GRID? I’m hoping the power companies will build small 5-10 acre solar with battery backups scattered throughout communities especially in rural areas. That way if 20 miles away the transmission gets hit with a storm, etc. the electricity will be more localized. It may not be practical but at the very least, all who can, could have solar and battery backup so if grid goes down, solar/battery kick in, thanks

I don't think that will happen (at least on a large scale) bc where is the profit motive in that? I don't see any incentive from utilities to do that

Nova Scotia Power are attemping to us wind mill micro grids instead of solar they are building wind mill substations with battery storage. This allows them to avoid buying an individual's access solar power that returns to the grid. Oddly enough NSP is own by Emera which owns Block Energy which builds solar micro grids.

Solar, inverter, charge controller, and batteries for your own home would be called a nano grid not a micro grid.

And the only ones left on the failing main grid will be poor folk.
