The funniest thing I've seen him do is in Clouds. when He tries to give a kid a high five and they don't, so he high fives himself lol and that video is BONKERS
I've seen someone say that maybe the ending of Leave me Alone represented NF giving some of his burdens to God, which is something we saw being talked about more often in this record. So, maybe white clothing could represent "talking to God more" as he says in his song Change. For that reason, some people in white in Leave me Alone are burden-free, but some still carry some.
“The Search” for a “Mansion” up in the “Clouds” was my “Perception”, now I spend “Moments” in a “Therapy Session”. Just a clever phrase I came up with using his album titles 😊😊
I just realized something that may mean something. At 15:52 when the people watching NF point at his burdens, and then NF says "I don't need advice from my thoughts right now..." he may have also been thinking that the people were focused on his burdens and judging him. Just a thought. It sounded better in my head. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
after watching this video multiple times for me its the circus of life with peope all arround dealing with issues. no one without make up was smiling because he is afraid to be normal. To him, the fake smile is still beter than being normal. Thats why when it showed everyone in black going in and coming out in white notice how dark it was and you couldnt see where they were going to or from while he was "being pushed" to get better but then kept walking walking. he keeps going and then its him in his cart and he is looking at an old man. Maybe a refelction or glimps of a future, walks over and poked the sleeping person who doesnt move. anyone with mental issues knows how lonely and debilitating it can be, or even the impact it can have on others and the old man and girl could be people in his life. So he decides to go back and get help.
Hey Tom! Following along the NF journey, you should check out "I Miss The Days" eventually. Its a pretty emotional song by Nate and I think it would make for a great review. Cheers!
Nate leaves this song with another cliffhanger, just like "The search" left with wondering about the white clothes. I agree with your comments on the people going in with dark clothes and coming out in white clothes, yet still seemed like they had no emotions. Knowing Nate said on Instagram (and in some songs) that he refuses to take ANY PILLS because his mom died because of prescription pain pills that turned into an addiction. He said his Therapist told him he needs psych meds for his OCD, but he refuses to take them. Because of this issue, I think he was indicating the change of clothes indicated the people were given meds when they changed clothes colors, yet they were under the influence of meds, so NF did not go in the line to change clothes.
Agh!!! I bloody love this song.. NF is an absolute genius and such a talent.. I relate to his music more than any other artist out there.. Especially Paralyzed, My Stress, Mansion and I hate myself
I believe I heard in past comments from other fans of NF is the cart represents his “safe space” a place that holds on to his burdens and where he can take a break l. Also thinking it’s like his security cart or blanket in a sense for him in the videos.
Hey Tom, here it goes some ideas for you: Eminem - Leaving Heaven NF - Therapy Session ✅ NF - The Search ✅ NF - Change NF - Leave me Alone ✅ Eminem - Not Afraid Eminem - Say Goodbye Hollywod Joyner Lucas - Im Sorry Joyner Lucas - Winter Blues Joyner Lucas - I Love Joyner Lucas - Ross Capacconi
I absolutely love the energy you bring to these videos, it's so engaging to be able to not just hear your interpretation but also see you jam out too. Personally I'd love to see you react to either Clouds or Hate Myself by NF. I think you'd definitely enjoy the beat of Clouds ^_^
@@ReactionTherapyOfficialI dunno if anyone has mentioned this to you but the name for that smile is a Chelsea grin it actually comes from the soccer hooligans they used to cut people in the corners of their mouth with a knife then stomp on their foot or do something else that would make the person scream and when they scream it would tear their cheeks all the way to the back of their jaw. That's what the joker had in The dark Knight when he said now I'm always smiling. So usually makeup like that is a shout out to something very dark and disturbing.
I think he means when they go from black to white they still remain the same. he even said I tell them how i feel and they remain the same as they were coming out in white.
I know I'm really late, but i just found your channel and as a big fan of NF I'm now watching your reactions to the whole journey, but anyway here's my theory about these videos: The black baloons of course are burdens there's no doubt in that, but then the fun with ideas for significance of things starts. For me this whole place is kind of like a mental hospital. The people wearing black are people who just start their whole search and journey to recovery. The smiles on their faces symbolises that 'mask' that we all wear, which shows that everything is fine. People in black are given the white clothes as a symbol of starting their therapeutic journey, they are given the possibility to take the chance, but the decision is up to them, that's why in some part of the video we see NF in a room with people in black, with their balloons and even their cartwheels - they are the people who chose not to start their therapy processes. We also have people who change the clothes from black to white, which means that they chose to do it, some of the people in white still have these 'smiles' on their faces, because letting the mask of happiness go is another part of the journey. We also have people who start to let go of their burdens, by giving away the balloons just as NF did at the end. So yeah for me it all just symbolises therapeutic journey. So I guess that's it, that's my theory...
I understand the section with the old man this way: If you carry your burdens for too long, you'll get buried by them eventually. It's like those areas, usually in bigger cities, where homeless people and those, who got left behind by society come together, because they've got nowhere else to go. One is sleeping in a grocery cart, another is sleeping on a discarded mattress. I think Nate imagined his older self living there, just like the underlining message of "Let you Down. "Leave Me Alone" is a very strong song, full of metaphors and a real treat for longtime NF fans. I've watched the video several times, but never paid attention to the second guy in black and with the cart in the beginning. Great eye, great ear and as always fantastic interpretation, Tom. This album is going to be a thrill!
I think this song was about how men are raised to hide their feelings, and it's no wonder that later in life they blow up their anger in the wrong way and end up in one institution or another. Either way I love how raw NF is in his music.
So much imagery in this music video it’s insane! The first time I saw this I thought that the lady in the white suit taking the smiles off from the rest represented medication. From my perspective those in white are walking around aimlessly almost like in a trance. In the song “Changes”NF describes how he was prescribed medications but that he is afraid taking them. It’s crazy man!
I've just been noticing your videos because you've actually been covering all of songs that I found myself RUclips ing I. Never ever even comment on anything and I dont even listen to NF but your amazing man keep doing this
That old man with the crate, He and the people were there buried with their burdens. That's why NF decide to give a try! Beacuse he don't wanna end like them.
Cheers to you Tom, Hope your having a great day! Love this song from NF and relate to alot. So happy to see the explosive growth your channel is having! Stay Safe & Sane Tom! -James
Hey Tom great reaction as always. Your NF reactions are unique in the fact that you offer clinical and mental health perspective on things. I’m a school psychologist and I really enjoy your perspective on things and your energy and breakdown of it is great. This song is a lot to take in. NF goes into detail of his new diagnosis of OCD and I like how you talk about how it really does impact someone’s life and the struggles they face.
I've been looking forward to your analysis of this one because I seem to have a slightly different perspective than others. I think the "broken amusement park" (broken joy) has all of the "broken people" (mentally ill) in it and they are all on the ride of getting better. I see it as different people at different places in their journey with their mental health and each place has a line of people, getting better in some way. That's why they aren't smiling, they are still broken but working on it. And NF is walking around, seeing people take off the facade or changing into better people (clothes) or successfully getting rid of burden balloons and he isn't and it's all so confusing. The song plays like my own anxiety and ruminating where it is absolutely everywhere and no where, which is why i think RUMINATING is the loudest word spoken in the song. So, all these people are getting somewhere and he is stuck, like the older guy in the dark part of the park. At the end he is trying to give away just a little of his issues and his hand is shaking. I want to believe this is a song fully encompassing our frustrating back and forth as individuals with broken brains that feel every one is getting better quickly, even though we/he has been on this journey so long and is still completely weighed down.
My perception of the people in white is that they are on their own journey of change. It happens slowly and differently and never overnight so some still have burdens, some have their smile, and some aren’t smiling at all but they’re still on the journey of change
I always press the like button before I ever watch your reaction. I know I'm going to like them by now. You are such a cool dad. Your boys are lucky to have you. Just keep doing you man! 👍✌🎧❤#NFrealmusic
The way you break down songs is amazing 👏🏽 enjoyable to watch and also is a learning experience as well! I'm sure NF would appreciate the fact that you take the time to fully digest and convey the depth of his music! Keep being awesome❤️🙂
By the way I do substance abuse mental health counseling at a women's prison and I've enjoyed your reviews I enjoy your takes on his music and Nf,s music has helped me get through some rough times
I’ve always considered the white clothes anti depressants. A lot of people (like myself) who probably need them, are concerned about becoming an emotionless drone which is basically what the people in the video seem like. They’re dumping their burdens making the change, but they’re not any happier. And we see among some that it’s not even entirely effective
Hearing this and seeing the video are two different experiences. This is SOOOO much better when you see the video and can put pieces of the puzzle together. There are some little gifts in this one for sure!!
I bet with his OCD it causes him to over and over and over analyze his words and his music and that probably makes him a better artist it probably drives him crazy but it makes him a better artist because I think that's why his words flow so well
I watch alot of reactors but you are definitely my favorite when it comes to NF songs. I absolutely love your energy and the way your mind works! Keep up the good videos!
The way I take the white suit people is, what we are expected to be as a society. The same thing goes for the painted-on smiley faces as well. People are broken, and people are sad. Either help me with this or not. Do not conform or train me, help me grow, and learn. If not f-it, what is the point? Again, that is what I take from this song and video.
Good afternoon Tom, Nate is still Searching, pushing his mental shopping cart prison around with his burdens attached, closely dragging behind. The people in white likely represent his fans in various stages of mental health themselves. Some still hide behind their fake "Joker" smiles, pretending their lives are fine with the appearances they present to the world and social media. Others, have been inspired by Nate, and are going to get professional help and are beginning to come to terms with their own flaws and burdens (wiping off their smiles in line). Some have let go of most of their burdens, and some fans still carry around a few burdens, but not as much as Nate; which is his "Perception." Furthermore, Nate references that "he'll drop a song out of nowhere and all the fans embrace it" (as all the seated fans are eagerly listening, waiting for new music and point, in unison, at his burdens). The following scene shows the symbiosis of Nate's fans helping him by literally being behind him and helping him into mental recovery (pushing him in his shopping cart) while simultaneously following him and being inspired to get help themselves. I think the tent with black clothes being exchanged for white represents people discovering NF and that they aren't alone. They don't have to wear black and be plagued by their burdens forever. Being a part of this community of NF fans that are real and raw is helping them and inspiring them to come into the light (white clothes symbolizing purity). They come out with no fake smiles, but don't necessarily smile for real still, because they are no longer faking that everything is ok. They have become "Real", embracing "Real Music" and "Real life" on the road to healing. The older man sitting in the cart, is old NF that we have seen in a few other videos, assuming he never lets go of all his burdens and grows old with them. Fame is again, referenced. The phone rings at the beginning (Fame is calling) and it ends with the phone still ringing; fame calling again. TBD on if Nate gives away a few of his burdens to the man behind the veil wearing white. I take that as GOD.
This was intense! Thank you so much for the description! You know you’re NF and this helps me understand so much better. I can’t believe how much goes into his music and video production!😊👍
@@ReactionTherapyOfficial It truly is unfathomable how much he does. I'm going to try and make my comments much shorter from here on out. Sorry for the length!
"Hi. I'm Tom Stevens and I'm in an abusive relationship with NF's music." LOL This whole album (at least like the first 12 tracks or so) is like this. A couple are very much like the song mansion too.
Have you ever thought of maybe doing the Lyric videos, I know sometimes you have a hard time with the faster parts and I also know how much of a fan you are at the same time. The faster parts have TONS of crazy lines and stuff that you miss. The lyric videos might be a good option for these faster songs, ALOT more for you to analyze. Love the reactions Tom! Keep em comin! I can sense that Joyner Lucas- Frozen comin soon lol
The white jumpsuit people, at least to me having been in and out of them, represent psychiatric hospital staff as well as the patients themselves while heavily medicated. Also I didn't see the smiles being wiped off, I thought she was putting them on similar to the nurse passing out meds and numbing everything causing the painted on fake smile.
Thank you for your reactions. I enjoy watching you and love it when you get down with the beat. The lyric breakdown is spot on. Can’t wait for the rest of the songs.
@@ReactionTherapyOfficialand there was no dealt with dramas and stuff from past things that had happened to that he just pushed to the back of his mind and didn't take care of that later come to the surface and spread like a cancer.
Yo man. I usually recommend u NF and Bieber but i found that artist that is so underrated. His name is Naits and his song “Coffin Girl” is just a bop! So emotional and so raw. Would love to see u react to it. Have a nice day man!
+ this song is relatable af since i was diagnosed with OCD as well and all the thoughts are too much sometimes. Is there any routine that can help you at least control it a little bit more?
OCPD (evil cousin of OCD) is a hellish disorder and the anxiety that it causes is crippling. Tack on some ADHD and your brain turns every scenerio into something resembling Dr Strange taking trips into every scenerio and reality trying to find all the answers. You litterally "what if" the hell out of everything. Nothing you do is good enough but your the only one who can do it right. Projects don't get done because you critique it to death or refuse to call it done because you're always trying to "fix it" or make it perfect. What's worse, you think it's all normal. You don't see the madness. I had no idea what was wrong with me or that something was wrong or how to talk to my doctor about it or that I even needed to until this song.
In my opinion I feel like the ones in white jumpsuits are ones that are going with traditional mental health it's been asked to he has the suit trying to make up his mind but he likes to do therapy his own way and his music is his therapy that's my opinion
Hey Tom, thank you so much for taking the time to analyze Leave Me Alone. It's such an amazing track. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Keep up the great work. I look forward to your future reviews. Have a great day.

Thanks so much Susan! Appreciate you and I do love this work!😊👍
This is the album that got me into NF, it's all extremely relatable! Glad to see support.
YOOOO... @17:55 is that 'HOPE'?!?! Then he says quiet quiet quiet quiet hey leave me alone...
I hope you have a great rest of your week sir. Thank you for the reactions once again!!!
I love seeing your reactions to the beat drops 🎶 💥
The way I take the white suit people is, what we are expected to be as a society. The same thing goes for the painted-on smiley faces as well. People are broken, and people are sad. Either help me with this or not. Do not conform or train me, help me grow, and learn. If not f-it, what is the point? Again, that is what I take from this song and video.
I Enjoy watching your videos, you're the best!
Thank you!😊👍
He is in gray aka purgatory, still tryin to find his way.
I've always seen this music video as him in a mental facility
Love your reactions
This one is going to be interesting
Good afternoon Tom,
Nate is still Searching, pushing his mental shopping cart prison around with his burdens attached, closely dragging behind. Some have let go of most of their burdens, and some fans still carry around a few burdens, but not as much as Nate; which is his "Perception."
Furthermore, Nate references that "he'll drop a song out of nowhere and all the fans embrace it" (as all the seated fans are eagerly listening, waiting for new music and point, in unison, at his burdens).
"Hi. I'm Tom Stevens and I'm in an abusive relationship with NF's music." LOL
This whole album (at least like the first 12 tracks or so) is like this. A couple are very much like the song mansion too.
Well said!!😊👍
NEW INTRO IS HEATTT
Thanks to nick😁👍
Have you ever thought of maybe doing the Lyric videos, I know sometimes you have a hard time with the faster parts and I also know how much of a fan you are at the same time. The faster parts have TONS of crazy lines and stuff that you miss. The lyric videos might be a good option for these faster songs, ALOT more for you to analyze. Love the reactions Tom! Keep em comin! I can sense that Joyner Lucas- Frozen comin soon lol
Thanks so much for the feedback and for your support!😊👍
The white jumpsuit people, at least to me having been in and out of them, represent psychiatric hospital staff as well as the patients themselves while heavily medicated. Also I didn't see the smiles being wiped off, I thought she was putting them on similar to the nurse passing out meds and numbing everything causing the painted on fake smile.
I love your reaction therapy! What a great way to help people while listening to amazing music and breaking it down! Keep it up!
Thanks so much Lisa!!😊👍
Thank you for your reactions. I enjoy watching you and love it when you get down with the beat. The lyric breakdown is spot on. Can’t wait for the rest of the songs.
Me too!!! Thanks so much for the comment😊👍
NF- STORY and CLOUDS

I think the ending is him letting go the burdens of fam
Sooo into you're journey man! 🔥🔥🔥
😁😁😁
Amazing I hope you doing well tom keep it up
THanks Preston!😊👍
@@ReactionTherapyOfficialand there was no dealt with dramas and stuff from past things that had happened to that he just pushed to the back of his mind and didn't take care of that later come to the surface and spread like a cancer.
I’m so happy your enjoying NF . You really have to do Mansion by NF You won’t be disappointed !
You are amazing! I love you how breakdown songs. Thank you!
Thank you!!😊👍
Hi mate, you should watch skitz kraven -animal hospital
Thanks so much!😊👍
Smile is his fake face. You got it
OCPD (evil cousin of OCD) is a hellish disorder and the anxiety that it causes is crippling.
In my opinion I feel like the ones in white jumpsuits are ones that are going with traditional mental health it's been asked to he has the suit trying to make up his mind but he likes to do therapy his own way and his music is his therapy that's my opinion
much love tom... always
Thank you!😊👍
You should do oh lord! In my personal opinion it is totally part of the journey but isn’t talked about much and I think it is amazing!
Hey Tom, thank you so much for taking the time to analyze Leave Me Alone. It's such an amazing track. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Keep up the great work. I look forward to your future reviews. Have a great day.
THanks so much Rick!😊👍
