Great Video Thanks. BEWARE! My 307 XSE Petrol wagon (2007) has an EXTRA BOLT on the battery plate that is only accessible from INSIDE THE WHEEL ARCH! (@3:30 in the video, bottom right) It's a third bolt in the series slightly hidden under the fusebox. Be prepared to remove the front left wheel arch plastic liner (I left the wheel on).
Brilliant! Just so tempting looking at the gearbox and thinking a few more bolts and the Clutch comes out......LOL ! i Like the rubber Jack Pad with the slot.I made mine with an Ice Hockey Puck that I found at a Car Boot Sale.Best Wishes and thanks for sharing.M
Hello, great video🎉 do you know if Gear mount of the vehicle citroen ds4 so chic 2013.It's the same as in your car?Really similar Thank you very much !😊
@@screwsnutsandbolts Well , for me , a stronger vibrations started right after I have replaced the engine mounts . So I suspect in parts quality or I have skip a step ( that mount under the battery) or I did something wrong.
@@cyclingserbia It's probably worth changing that last mount as it's a relatively cheap part. Hopefully that will eliminate the vibration. Let me know how you get get on
I had no symptoms, this was just for demonstration. This link explains what symptoms you can expect with a bad gearbox mount: cartreatments.com/bad-transmission-mount-symptoms-replacement-cost/
Great job, great video! Thank you very much. I have a Citroen C4, but both cars are so similar, and I think the process is just same.
Thank again!
Thanks for watching !

God only knows why they would do this.
Thanks for the warning 👍

@@Robertsmith2100so you go to their shops for those fixings, a gave up on that screw
Yes on my 307 1.6 16v there is also a bolt under the wheel cover
Excelente video. Debo cambiar este soporte y ahora se como hacerlo.

Thanks very much, yeah it looks like it couldn't be that hard but I wouldn't bet on it lol. Great idea with the puck ! :)
Keep going i love you man
Thank you !
Great video thanks, would this be a similar process for a Peugeot Expert 2004?
Got an advisory on my mot now it’s playing on my mind
It's probably fairly similar but I haven't worked on an Expert so I don't know I'm afraid.

Great job 👏
Thanks !
Thank you very much for this video.Great job, I didn't know where this gearbox was. I think this piece is to origin ,sound and vibration in my car?
Is rear peugeot hdi 1.6 2005 have a rear mount if so is that the gear box mount ?
There's usually 3 mounts. One on the top left of the engine, one on the top of the gearbox and one at the lower rear of the engine
On peugeot 2005 307 1.6 Hdi how many mounts are their I see 2 only ? 1 drivers side and 2 under battery side
There's also a rear mounting from the back of the cylinder block the to the subframe of the car
how many engine mounts does peugeot 307 from 2003 have ?
There's 3. There's one on the top left of the engine, one on the right (shown in this video) and a third one at the lower rear of the engine.
@@screwsnutsandbolts thanks for fast answer, where can I find information about rest of the engine mounts ? the manual ? or is there a youtube video ?
@@igracigricabalkan3776 I got the info from the manual. Here's a video showing the top left mount: ruclips.net/video/wxgZYGVUQjw/видео.html
Could you make a video about how to change the engine mount under the engine theres the lower one just right under it😁
Hi , I have replaced my 307 side and rear engine mounts . Now I have engine vibration when idle. Do I have to replace this one too ? Thank you
I would take a look at the gearbox mount to see what condition it's in first
@@screwsnutsandbolts Thank you very much for a fast reply. I will do that.
@@cyclingserbia I used to own two Peugeot 307s and both of their engines vibrated a bit when idling so it could just be a 307 thing :)

Where is location the gearbox mount at 206?Does anyone knows?
It's very similar to the 307. Remove the battery, the battery tray and then the steel base plate

What is the specific torque 9:35 center nut.
According to the Haynes manual it's 65Nm (48 foot pounds)

You might hear a 'clunk' noise when you accelerate or brake, or sometimes when you put it into gear
Hello, what engine is this?
This is the 1.4 petrol engine
that's the same old one back again!
It's a demonstration on how to change the part. I didn't need to use a brand new one for that :)
