This tutorial will show you how to install a switch kit on a DeWALT DW705 miter saw which replaces the trigger switch (part # 287948-00). Helpful items include a screwdriver, a wire stripper, crimping pliers, and needle-nose pliers.

Do you have to get the whole kit? The newer switch component looks like it would fit if you swapped the trigger mechanisms.
where can I find a switch replacement or wiring diagram for a D28715 type 2 chop saw .
Hi, I did open the white switch in my Dewalt saw machine and notice the contacts are black and broken a bit. I did try to repair the contacts and the saw started to work but it didn't last for long. Please inform where I can buy only the switch itself, I mean the original white switch. Thanks.
