I have a dw 713, and when I got a replacement switch, the saw stays on the whole time unless if I "turn on" the switch. I've tried every possible wiring combination, although mine looks exactly like yours.
I have the DW 716. I recently replaced the spring, but now the guard sticks when I try to pull down, so I have to lift the guard every time I make a cut. Its very annoying and the saw is only 18 months old. I can't find any info on line for how to adjust this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
Looks easy enough, thanks for the video

there is cleary picture on the switch that says 250v 10A, is there any wiring options to rewire from 120v to 240v ?
Would a slow start up before hitting full power be a symptom of a bad switch too? That’s what mine is doing.
on my saw the screws to remove the switch are a unique head, is there a special screw driver that is needed?

OK what if I get a chopsaw that has no switch how can I figure out where the wires go?
Why not start with testing instructions first?
how do i rewire a new delta replacement trigger switch with an old rockwell trigger switch. the wiring is different #34010 vs hy38
