I bought this car things I don't like, paint seems thin, my volvo S70 23 years old has great paint still look fantastic, no rear USB charging ports, no rear heating vents that I can see, tail lights are not LED, trunk tail lights don't come on eather, things fall out of the glove box if its full when closing the door. Things I love. 13.1 gallon tank, looks to get 500 miles a tank I love it thats 210 miles more than my volvo with a 18 gallon tank, I don't have to plug into a wall socket at night like some other hybrids, drives great, handles great, great passing power at 65MPH, nice cruise control will slow or speed up tracks car in front of you. lane assist, after drive a few hour reminds you to take a coffee break, found out it had shifter paddle on steering wheel just like the Dodge challenger, hands free telephone operation, steering wheel control for radio and control. 10 year 150K warranty on hybrid battery. I would buy again and is a recommend buy.
The taillights are LED! And yes the paint on modern Toyota’s is pretty thin but they’ve improved a lot on paint quality, especially with Super White as a few years ago the white used to peel.
Very interesting feedback. I just bought a brand new 24 Camry Se nightshade, same color same wheels etc..Was not planning on buying it until I drove it today. I was sold on it. Was looking at the 24 Prius XLE and the Prius Prime XLE. By far the Camry driving experience and the large trunk and the styling. It grew on me quickly so I bought it. Mine has the BSM which is great to have especially these days. Every car should have this by now instead of the $600 charge. It just drives nice, like a Carnry should. Going to tint all the windows, and PPF the entire front end.
Here it's not even about the time, but about the instant power and electric torque😄 By the time the V6 kicksdown, this car will be a good distance away
It has the lines that move to where it's telling you the car will be while backing up. You just have to switch the backup mode it's in. Right on the screen bottom right

Doing this on an engine that hasn't even been broken in yet...you're not doing the engine any favors and you're certainly not going to get the best times either. A big thing about the whole "thinking" really comes down to the transmission not learning your driving style yet. Once it learns, it shifts to allow more power. When I bought mine used with 22K miles, the transmission was used to someone who very gently babied it (I do too, but since it's new to me I like to test it's capabilities a bit more while still babying it) and the transmission has adjusted to my driving style, so now it's a little more ready to give you some more power especially at lower speeds when you need it. Once you put on about 2,000 miles or so, it should be acquainted with you. I would try it again now that your transmission and engine have been broken in and adjusted to your driving style, you'll probably find a little bit of a better time.
The whole "break in" period on these normal cars is such a myth. If they actually needed to be broken in, they would have a limited redline like the BMW S63 for the first 300 miles, or the Corvette for 500 miles. Most of them are already broken in from the factory.
@@DMCarReviews Do you have sources? I mean I can understand the BMW and Corvette and these enthusiasts who own the cars understand they have periods that the engine needs to break in...but again, why wouldn't they just do that at the factory if all other engines are broken in at the factory? People would likely be upset if a Corolla or a Forte or whatever have you restricted their power for the first thousand miles of ownership because they may not always understand nor appreciate having their car limited for that period of time. If anything, you'd expect the more powerful engines to be broken in at the factory to ensure they meet the standards unlike the smaller and not quite as powerful engine. I mean, if I'm wrong about something, I'd like to know and I have no problem admitting it, but I have never heard even in modern cars that break ins are simply unnecessary. Edit: most cars, like the Camry, don't have a digital tachometer, nor do they have a instrument cluster that would be compatible with a break in RPM limiter to show that the range has been extended. If we're talking about the average person again, they're not going to understand an RPM limiter and the instrument cluster wouldn't make it apparently visible without a redesign and extra programming. In this day and age, most manufacturers want to make their cars as cheap as possible to boost sales of their cars with the car market being as cold as it has been. Toyota usually isn't one for cutting corners, but I can't imagine they'd go through that trouble. They'd rather just have someone's engine wear out prematurely and have repairs done and that be it, pass that responsibility on to the customer, not them.
@@DMCarReviews It has notoriously been bad for engines of new and old... it's recommended from the manufacturer. The burden of proof is on you for making the claim that it isn't bad for your car. You made a claim, you did not demonstrate how it's a myth. I just asked for sources and you said it's a myth and that's all you did, no other proof has been provided. Obviously, as *you* stated, the BMW and Corvette need their RPMs limited to properly break in an engine, so why would they need the break in but not this? I'm sure if I pulled out my Camry manual, it'll state somewhere about the break in period.
the new accord hybrid is significantly faster with a 0-60 of 6.6seconds. its also significantly roomier. as far as styling personally I much prefer the camry hybrid se nightshade. the blacked out look with the bronze wheels looks absolutely amazing. I think the new accord hybrid has a very upsettingly dull and bland design. as far as handling, these two cars are right about tied imo. Honda has always been known for their handling but this particular camry is right about tied because of Toyota's TNGA suspension platform and the lower profile tires make for a very fun driving experience as far as handling. You can hit curves easily with these. In the end these two are very, very good cars and you simply cannot go wrong with either. They both get well over 55mpg with normal to conservative driving. Whichever one you go for you win either way.
The Accord Hybrid Touring has a more stylish design, a nicer interior, and a better infotainment system, but the driving dynamics and performance are better in the Camry Hybrid. It's also cheaper.
By far and away the best video on the Nightshade SE Hybrid out there, been looking for something like this for a long time, great work!!
Thank you very much!
