Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Review: Revolution, not Evolution! | TOI Auto

The new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is very different from the former Himalayan. First of all, it gets a new design scheme that is not as boxy as the previous model. It even comes with an LED headlamp and LED turn indicators. There is a new 4-inch TFT instrument cluster that can be paired with a smartphone and displays maps for navigation.
Mechanically, the Himalayan 450 has a bigger 452 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces much more power than the old 411 cc engine. This new engine is capable of belting out 39.6 hp and 40 Nm. With bigger brakes and a radial tyre at the back, the Himalayan 450 handles a lot better than the original version. Another big update is the presence of USD forks at the front.
