We absolutely love Rosemarkie campsite. When we were there earlier in the year we stayed in the third field, closest to the village. ( we have booked for next year already) We had a pitch adjacent to the sea, the view is fantastic. I was fortunate to see two dolphins at Channory point. Thanks for the video Bob it brought back a lot of happy memories.
Hi Bob,Jenny and Poppy, wow the bridge on leaving the site was a little daunting like you say, lovely travelling through the villages. The campsite was different and right by the sea, great that you can walk to the village easily. Looks fantastic x Julie and Tony x
What a lovely part of the World. We used to have family caravan holidays near Tain, in Ross-shire. More recently,Embo, near Dornoch and Nairn, in Moray. That looks like a lovely site you’re on now at Rosemarkie . It’s in a nice situation, near the sea. It looked like the weather isn’t too bad either, which is always a bonus. Enjoy it Bob,Jenny and Poppy.🚐✋
Been to Rosemarkie many times, also Fortrose site. We find it busy with the road, also had problems with youths pulling the electric cable out at 10 pm as we were on the furthest part of the site by the road. It is owned by the council and reverts back to a car park out of season. There have been beach parties as well. Its a shame as its a lovely area but we wont be going back. Enjoying your tour. Glad you have had some nice weather as in Angus its been rain, rain and rain.
Thank you for the lovely video it brings back so many happy memories, we love Fortrose and Rosemarkie and have spent many happy holiday’s there, hope you manage to see the dolphins it’s a wonderful experience x
Hi Bob seems the Scottish roads are no better than ours by the pot holes we see also if Mrs Sat Nav said it was the A9 and it was in 1859 is it not time you update her. It’s been a very good series of Scotland thank you.
We stayed at the other one Fortrose Bay a couple of weeks ago, similar set up with the road cutting through. I think it was £26 so a good bit cheaper😎 Nice that you could walk into Rosemarkie though 😎 Em 💜
We love Rosemarkie and have always ben lucky to get a pitch on the front, all you can hear at night is the sea. We go in September, site always full but quieter all round.
Bob as you are polite driver why didn't you tell drivers when the it was safe to come out, this is when you arrived at Rosemarkie. Had relatives who.lived in.Cromarty so l.know the Black Isles well
Not sure how I could do that short of getting out and directing the traffic. I was already turning into the road when I saw the cars queued up there and the first one just carried on coming out, I couldn't reverse because of cars behind me.

We enjoyed it there.
Best view ever! You can hear the sound of the waves coming in- love that.
Look at the view you have from your motorhome...just stunning. Haha Poppy certainly knows her own mind...and lets you know. Good girl Pops ❤
Yes it was good!

We did enjoy it there, the weather was fairly kind too.
Great stuff Captain!
The amount of Motorhomes on the roads is unbelievable. No wonder those pot holes are getting bigger . 😮 looks a great site . 🇦🇺
Jenny just said it is half eleven as i am watching this it is half eleven at night 😂Nice little site by the sea

What a fantastic view you have x

Yes I saw dolphins! Next video..
Seen that same 3 wheeler in Fort William last week, can’t remember exact day but definitely him, some going for him 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Looked unusual, wasn't a Morgan, maybe a kit car.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo pretty sure it was a cycle, fair queue of traffic behind him

Thanks. The potholes in the UK apparently require £14bn to repair them, doesn't look like that money is going to found any time soon!

The toilet blocks look identical. Rosemarkie was our most expensive site!
@@BobEarnshawMoHo worth it for the dolphins 🐬 though 😎 Em 💜
@@BobEarnshawMoHo yes & there is drive over motorhome service point at the other one too, for next time maybe 😉 Em 💜

Oh that bridge coming of that site. Shogun caravan and towing mirrows. 😂 . The sea made me book another holiday. Keith liked the sound GOLF COURSE. 🙈x
Very popular with Golfers! 😊
We were there the same time as you and managed a lovely lunch at the bar/restaurant.
We couldn't get near getting a table outside. We did manage something in the next video though.
We stayed there, we were lucky enough to get a pitch on the front row overlooking the sea. Fantastic view, but no Dolphins unfortunately.
I needed to go to Chanonry Point to see the dolphins - next video.
