This will be raved about in 30 years. Sometimes if you get really lucky and stick this on big screen, the frames will overlap/jolt. It adds to it when you're stoned.
there are only a few who are conduits for musical energies arriving from somewhere else unknown ... Hendrix was the most apparent. but anton could occasionally grab on. on this performance it flows thru him.
Anton is THE most unpretentious rockstar ever.

BJM are on tour this summer. They have a day off between Denver & St. Louis. A local promoter asked them to play Lincoln. They said no. They played here once before and got blown off the stage by the openers and a typical BJM episode ensued.

this song wasn't 'made up' on the spot. it's 'feel it', which was never on an official BJM release, but they used to play it live often and there's a recording available online from a peel session they did in 99.

I was about to respond and agree with your comment. He keeps saying its "made up on the spot and it isn't" and I rage everytime I hear it.

I guess my thousand dollar pass to this expired. Didn't get to see it. It's cheaper to be a band and be accepted to SXSW. Don't buy it people.. Austin is a rip off.

I know what you mean...I saw the Dandys in a small private gig for a mexican tv show and they played ok but they were so arrogant! We were like 20 fans or something like that plus the host and the staff and they never try to do any contact with the audience. The only one was Zia, she wave at us a couple of times

These guys remind me of the Dandy Warhols-meet-Black Sabbath-in-Austin. The Dandy's are from my home town and I've seen them many times at small venues. A couple of times they were brilliant, more times they were arrogant and mediocre, other times C.T. was so messed up he couldn't or just didn't want to get through the songs, and most times I was embarrassed to recommend that friends come to the show with me. The Black Angels on the other hand ROCK.
