I remember going to the launch of these at our local dealer.they even had a new showroom built for it.the food was great,the car rather less so unfortunatley,then again we did love our jaguars.still enjoying the content tho and its great that you are preserving them.Allways remember me uncle being interested in them because he had a hyundai steller 1 6 gsl,remember them! I think they must be as extinct as these are now.dont think he ever had a proton tho.
@@ivanfernyhough3851 My dad had a 1.6 GLS Steller, great car. Was the first automatic car my dad had no problems driving lol.

We had the Iswara after my mom divorced.....after she had to sell her nicee conti car...for awhile it embarrasing but despite the horrendous quality control it was a reliable car...we now have nicer cars but now i think the saga and iswara were nostalgic to me.

with a car that is 1 of 1 and with such low mileage, i would keep it under wraps too! except to take it for mot, to keep it safe and keep the mileage down

My 85k mile Duster got an advisery free pass week before last - dunno why I act like I am surprised as I do what I can to look after it - eg 4 new tyres in the last few months alone - but every time its "gee whizz - clear pass? Wow" lol

this reminds me that I really need to send my car to the bodyshop for rust repairs asap. Despite the family have tons of cars, borrowing said cars so I can send the saga for repairs prove to be too much of a family hassle, I ended up just buy a new car for my work daily, the saga been sitting duck ever since. Which unfortunate now I can't afford for repairs.

Very quiet car that engine Mitsubishi designed was a good engine like Australian Mitsubishi mirage 1.5L .
Reminds me of my old 92 TP Mitsubishi Magna executive 2.6L 4cyl Astron Engine Australia built in Adelaide at Mitsubishi Australia .
Same roof style lining plastic sides and door handles on outside .
That cruised along quietly too once it reached highway speeds 4speed auto ..

Yep just 5 mins from stoke on trent.BF,VT,EH,FA,and probably some i have forgotten.them were the days,when you could actually tell when and when a car was registered.todays system is crap.i dont no any local ones if indeed they still have them and i even struggle with the year these days.2 changes a year completely spoilt it for me.used to love spotting the new year letter on the 1st of august.even better when me dad had one.so cool.
