    Every day I stand outside looking at my cut wood. Neverending anxiety about not having enough wood for winter. Thanks for the videos and the inspiration.

    I fully understand this video is sped up at times, but even so, you are one of the few splitters I've seen who really plows through these rounds quickly and efficiently. Nice hip action to keep them in line, too!

    Nice operation , I actually put a second log tray on my splitter , 1 to protect the engine and second , hold more rounds !!

      Ya, I've had a couple logs land on the engine. Not a bad idea!

    I have the same splitter. It’s been a workhorse for my needs. I like your technique to get 6 splits out of the larger logs. Like another commenter, I also put on a second log table, big improvement.

      I might have to get a second log table. That's a great idea

    Who else saw the squirrel at 8:53?

      Nice find! Those red squirrels are probably mad at me. There's a couple who like to hang out in the log pile. I got pretty close to one, one day!. Thanks for watching!

    Does it dry very fast stacked like that ??? Or is that next year wood ??

    • @OutdoorsEngineer
      @OutdoorsEngineer  9 месяцев назад

      The Ash can typically be stacked for 6-8 months and be ready to burn. It is a very low moisture wood to start with. But not ready to burn to start.

    You should be using the four way for all that baby wood
