This legit has to be used as a main theme for the rumored upcoming Infamous videogame, just how they used Dead Sara's cover of Nirvana's Heart Shaped Box for the last game Infamous Second Son. It would just be a perfect fit for a sequel.

honestly, i always react somewhat alergic to nirvana covers/mixes. this however is pretty epic cause it keeps the essence of the original. extremly nice work!
Covering classing tunes is always risky - but this shows it's sometimes worth it

Hybrid has always been my favorite electronic music group, but I have to say I wish you guys would get back to the roots. For example your remix of Godspeed. It's been a long time since I've heard you guys come out with that kind of electronica.

Are you guys just really good at eqing and mastering or do you have exceptionally clear equipment that's putting out a really clean signal. Is it the process as a whole or some combination of all of it that's leading to your music sounding better than most? Hybrid tracks seem to consistently have better sound quality than most other electronic artists. I'm guessing this is partly years of experience in combination with good equipment. I'm just curious about it. Take a certain older and very experienced up tempo, long form Progressive Trance producer for Joof as an Example. Amazing producer, probably one of, if not the best in his genre. But he can't eq to save his life. As a result his tracks often come out sounding kind of muddy even though he's using good quality synths, mixing boards etc. So what's the difference? Why do your songs always sound so much more clear than others. To me your music often sounds like it came out of a recording studio with the kind of quality you see on pop artist releases. There's a tier to music sound quality and the father down the ladder you go from platinum selling artist the less clear music tends to be. No offense but I doubt you guys have the same resources as Beyoncé or Metallica be that money or equipment. Yet your music often comes out nearly or just as clear as a major pop artists would. The kind who have massive sales and ginormous record company studios behind them, with all that entails.
Their sound design, production and mixing are indeed very fucking next level!! Although, i don't think it comes down to the equipment at all.. i'm sure they have great gear, but nothing replaces decades of experience in music making. With time, the stuff you create comes together more intuitively and you'll be able to achieve the type of clear sound you're striving for. Everything is so intertwined, that the production itself, the vocal performance and especially the songwriting can affect the quality of a mix. As they say, you can't polish a turd..lol If the songwriting is great, the production is tight and the vocals are very well recorded and performed, you're already half way there, the mixing is just the cherry on top. I also learned the hard way that If you find yourself trying to fix how the song sounds in the mixing process, you likely already fucked up in the songwriting or production, and need to go back at the fundamentals of the song. But of course, nothing beats Hybrid and their insane talent hehe They're the best.
Mike Truman clearly knows what he's doing. Charlotte also has tons of musical talent. So they start out with a massive advantage over other artists!
Pretty sure Mike Truman is a phenom. Been listening to Hybrid on and off since 2009-ish. I'd love to see him do a full series of episodes at Masterclass - or at the very least - something akin to what Tom Holkenborg aka JunkieXL did on RUclips with the soundtrack for Mad Max: Fury Road. Go through the different stages of production and show how the magic gets made.
I'm right there with you as far as the production quality far exceeding that of many other, far more notable (not offense) names in the business - although I will say I was nothing short of astounded by Dua Lipa's newest record, Future Nostalgia. Give that a listen if you haven't already!
