You will get there my brother 😊 I started on my room about three years ago when I had to retire because of my PTSD. I just got home from Bigg Matt’s. I gave some reel to reels to him and he actually gave me a Crown CX-822. I’ve been trying to buy it from him for over a year but he gave it to me. That shows you how kind he is. I call him my brother from another mother 😀 I met him at the start of my journey and we’ve been friends ever since. There is no way in the world I could have all these machines if I didn’t know him. I did 22 years in the Marine Corps doing Signals Intelligence all over the far east and Europe. I got to see the Nimitz on it’s maiden voyage. They pulled it to Edinburgh Scotland while I was stationed in Edzell Scotland back in 1975😀 Take care and I’m sure we will talk more 😊😊😊
Nice hobby, I had a reel to reel when I was a teenager back in the 80s. I have moved on to digital everything as I do not believe a turntable or reel to reel can match the sound quality. Funny, because even CD players are obsolete now. Soon, you won’t even be able to find DVD players.
Nice gear. With all of that equipment in between your speakers what's your soundstage and imaging like. Do you suffer from bass nulls without acoustic treatment,???
