I was buying ASE's but I'm sick of their high premiums, now I've been stacking Maples, I should have done this a long time ago, but better late than never. Just Beautiful. Good video. THE SARGE
My very favorite coin to stack as well, slowly working on a monster box. Monument Metals has the 2023 CML for a great price, $3.69 over spot, no limit.
@@bigsean2473You are so right as I just bought a few of them.Hero has been my goto as of late with good prices,$150 free and fast shipping and no issues.
Got a few tubes of the 2022 Bright Uncirculated Maple Leaf's, which are very nice but the premiums aren't for the faint of heart. Back then I only bought them because I thought they were a good deal and they really are. However, back then I was new and didn't realize the difference between stacking and collecting silver. Being a stacker costs less money as long as you buy lowest premium rounds or better yet, 5-10 ounce silver or gold bars.
The premiums are fortunately coming lower. Not quite where i want them, but at least we aren't dealing with 2021-22 premiums today. Thanks for watching!
I have both gold and silver Maples and a few 10oz bars. Mintshield has been solid and have zero milk spots. People ask me why they are .9999 instead of .999 and I say because they can!
I absolutely love the Canadian Maple Leaf! I wasnt able to find one locally so I ordered one of Amazon using my reward points, it arrived in a flip with that exact COA in your video. Weight, diameter and thickness were spot on. What a beautiful coin. Ive always treasured the American Silver Eagle but I have to admit, the Maple Leaf is right up there with it. I always put my coins in air tights. Is that overkill? Awesome video, thanks for sharing.
The Canadian Royal Mint is the mint that provides the Comex with their 1000 ounce silver bars. If we want to squeeze the supply of silver then buy maples.
I don’t stack as much as add to my collections. I know that on the secondary market they are still priced at around $10-$15 overs kspot and there are more than that, that are bringing much more than that. If they are graded at MS or PF 70 , which definitely is well over spot and usually over $100 or more. Unfortunately if you haven’t started with the ASE since it began then they are worth maybe a few dollars over what you originally paid for them. If I have some extra money at the end of the quarter then I might buy some of the Canadian or British sovereigns . These are my favorite just to have.
I absolutely agree, a beautiful and milk-spot-free coin! As for milk spots, the most disappointing for me has been the Philharmonic... I cannot even describe how milky the tube of Phillis I bought was... I could put my cereals in them for breakfast. Is it just my impression, or private mints have much less milk-spotting than national mints?
Yes Phils can get really milky. I have some that way, others that are perfect. It's hit or miss. Yes, i'd say i've seen less spots with generic rounds. Good observations!
@@floridastackerwow that’s totally the opposite of what my experience has been. Not many of my coins have spotted at all but a lot of my rounds have. I guess it’s just hit or miss with either.
@@floridastacker actually I had it ordered in America, but I ordered it from Scottsdale website, apparently they said they had lots of back orders, so that’s why it took to long. I use SD bullion now. Comes a lot faster now haha 😂 thanks for responding. Good video too.
Yes! Maple Leafs are my favorite Silver bullion coin. OR.......Used to be. Now that the Evil Charles now graces the front side, I'm less attracted to them!!!
For me it's a collection coin. As I saw the Libertad there, it's a gorgeous coin. Either you like coins or wanna stack them. If one is a stacker and not a numismat, buy a rough bar: simple as that. In coins, stacking is stupid as you pay premium for nothing. As a numismat you pay premium for beauty.
The coin was designed, and each year minted and released as bullion. Collect them if you want, but they have no numismatic value. Really don't take kindly to the stupid reference but to each their own
@@floridastackerwhy no numismatic value ? Numismatic means coins lover. Why not numismatic ?! Are they poisoned ?! Bullion and so on. Maples are okay, I actually prefer the Mexican silver Libertad’s, for neighboring countries. Higher premiums but also higher buy-back value they hold their value even better than ASE’s imo!
Hello, I speak from Brazil, I would like to know if you would recommend me a supplier of silver coins that send to my country? Here is the value of silver is very high.

They really are a step-up in quality and also typically less expensive than ASEs to boot.
The maple leaf is looking better and better as a stacking one oz coin. But we might get a break soon (or even now) for adding eagles.

Any idea how long the 1952-2022 marked Maple Leaf with the Queen on it will stay available? I greatly prefer that one to the King Charles version.
Not much longer. 2024s are coming extremely soon. Expect premiums on 2023s to begin increasing as early as October
