If your a Cubase user you should consider Halion 7. But if you use other DAWs such as Ableton or FL Studio then for the most part there isn't that much different in sound quality between this and Halion although I personally think Halion sounds more superior which is why I reccomend Halion to Cubase users over this one.
@@ArtistMusick I bought Cubase Artist 12 last year for my new computer. I originally bought Halion 6 in summer 2019 mainly because there was a 50% offer for it. I got Halion 7 as an £85 upgrade as Halion 6 users were entitled to a discount upgrade. Cubase SX3 was my very first DAW and I got Cubase Artist 7 as a Christmas present in 2012. I definitely prefer Cubase over the other 2 DAWs I mentioned even though I have never used FL or Ableton, I did also try CakeWalk by BandLab but I didn't get on very well with that even though I have used older version of Cakewalk at an acquaintence's house many years ago. The other DAW I use is Mixcraft RS because for some stuff it's very easy to use.
I have Sample tank 3 and I don't like the acoustic guitar sounds. In fact I like the ones in sonik synth 2 and sample tank 2.5 better .Unfortunately there is some thing about Windows 11 that does not let you import these kegacy instruments into Sample Tank 3. I know because I've tried on 2 brand new Windows 11 computers. I've been thinking of buying Halion 7 or Kontakt Komplete 14
Halion 7 is an absolutely fantastic software workstation as many of it's sounds are actually based on Yamaha Motif samples, I do also have the full version of Kontakt 6 and Abbey Road Drummer Collection by Native Instruments. But also if you have the full version of Kontakt you can use free unlicensed libraries which only work in Demo mode with the Player version. Komplete or Kontakt might be worth considering whenever Native Instruments have special offers or seasonal deals. But if your a Cubase user then you should definitely consider getting Halion 7 as it is much better than Halion Sonic SE.
@@tanisharora9906 im looking at it now on Humble bundle, had to look twice at the discount on IK website.. Pretty crazy. Doing more research to make sure i'll use it. You end up getting and using it? thoughts?
Actually surprised how nice that sounded....

@0:40 it took 18 sec to open a single guitar sound ?? geez....
Yes, I regretted purchasing this plugin.
It’s gotta depend on your system. My lab doesn’t take that long to load and instrument.
What is the initial download size of this software.
Sorry bro, I don't remember...
I deleted it because I decided not to use
It's absurd.. 300gb.. Not worth it as of today (for me).
It's fine for a 50$ bundle pack
