thank you !!!! Thins is the first good tutorial I found, even if I need transient thermal is still a step forward from the million errors I was getting before!
I needed a tutorial on transient thermal analysis, but this what I found initially and was still very helpful. Very clear instructions and very direct. Thank you!
please help me sir, On 1.23 second there is option called engineering data...if i choose required solid and fluid material...then during giving boundary conditions to geometry such as temp and convection... at this moment how can i impose this engineering data to different part of geometry.
Can it be simulated if the thermal dissipating fins are made of different material with the central cylinder (different thermal conductive coefficient)?
halo, can you help me to aplying temperature in explicit dynamic ansys workbench? i only can do it in static structural, but i confusing when i want to apply it in explicit dynamic. i use explicit dynamic because i need to process damping in my simulation.
In ANSYS Fluent, we usually mesh the PART and then do the Analysis. For Thermal Analysis, isn't Meshing Required? (I am new to ANSYS, its only been a month since I started)
+Ashwin Ganesh Meshing is required for all the analysis you do, the main objective of meshing is to replicate the actual cad to the FE model so that the solution can be obtained using engineering equations.
Sure sir.And also I would like to request you to share few more Heat transfer analysis problems, so that you will be like a virtual mentor for thousands of beginners like me. Tty Thanking you sir. Regards, Naveen DN

thank you sir very straight forward and useful. please keep doing good work.
Thank you for the video, very useful!
Excuse me sir, can you please provide the CAD model of the Geometry? thank you
Thank you very much..
But what is the difference between total heat flux and directional heat flux
thanks. It's helpful for me.

Hi
What is the name of this object? Or where we can use it?
Please anyone answer
Thanks in advance
Thank you for the video, What would you do if you want to get the results along the radius Ri and Ro of the cylinder?
sir, can u tell me how i can provide the inside temperature of a closed body in wrokbench????
Temperature depends the part condition i mean which type of your part such as combustion chamber, cylinder head etc...
how do you make to stick one analysis with other analysis?
How would you include thermal shell elements for thermal analysis ? Sorry i am new to ansys
Its nice sir
Thank yo so much
how to un-select? 3:50

Isn't the mode of transfer is Conduction instead of convection, sir
I do the same thing as you but I get incomprehensible result (300°C) .Do you have an explication ?
When I give the command to solve, a message is being displayed that your product license has numerical problem limits.
if you find any solution to this problem, please let me know.
do we need to use fluent in case of heat transfer between fluids
Yes
+GRS CAD/CAE and what about double conduction and convection case in water cooled duct flow?
Is it possible to do the simulation for EDM Process by using ANSYS ?
Sketch your problem description and send it to engineeringtutorsdesk@gmail.com
Hello,
How do I hide the mesh in the final result (my mesh shows up as well)
Thank you
Vinayak Deshpande Vinayak, herewith attached is the solution link to your Query sites.google.com/site/feaengineeringdesign/faq
GRS CAD/CAE Thank you, Have a good one
Do you need to apply material in this case?
because they have done it on default setting.....so soultion and meshing was getting done at same time
please do Electric-Thermal-Structural simulation in Ansys Workbench :) i need help from expert like you, Sir.
I need you to interpret the results and make a conclusion on the results. PLs. Just explain the results of ansys
Thank you sir
You are welcome Naveen, please share videos to your friends.
