As someone that has grown to dislike flex cuts over the last 6 months I'm happy that they're making flex cuts an option. I will be getting one once the GB starts

That backweight looks sooooooooo good. It has kind of a mountain theme to it. Dusk and Chroma option would the best to choose to match that. If they make a glitter-like PVD/sandblast for the starry night look, it would be cooler. Even if some minimalistic star engraving like the line around the weight would do.

The geometric bit including those tapered edges look awwweeesome imo! The arrow gap is the only gripe I have with it.

Just built a QK100 with the wired Hot Swap PCB and COPY+PASTE doesn't seem to work. Anybody else have this issue?

I feel like this may have been a hot take from one of the meetup Q&As, but I feel like I dislike that empty space for the same reason I generally don’t like winkeyless (lost functionality). I’ll give that one key isn’t a huge loss for this form factor, and losing a windows key is far more painful than whatever I’d want in that space for this board, but I for an 1800, I’m for full commitment to utility/practicality

Even with the CF plate and non-flex but it still seems very flexible and soft... while I appreciate QK trying to bring as many features onto the board as possible, I agree that the empty space is bothersome. Having a spot for another key there would have been fine for me from a utility standpoint as well as just filling out the board visually.

Thinking of going broke getting an aftermarket arc60 but my wallet cried for help so im looking for alternative. (I wanted to try hotswap plateless)
im personally not an advocate for hotswap plateless but i would get the arc if you REALLY wanted to go that route since that config on the qk100 was not great nor is it recommended xD

Completely understand and agree about the empty space. Begs for a key or a badge. Unused space on a functional piece of equipment is just 😖. Still grabbing one for my father. Maybe I'll put a single googly eye there...

Is there volume control?
There’s no dedicated media buttons, but as all the keys are programmable you can assign volume up/down play/pause next and rewind to any of the keys you don’t fancy using a lot
@@TofuTypes Darn, just gonna have to wait for a QK100 with a knob. Don't want to reconfig any buttons. Eventually I think there will be one since the smaller QK eventually got it.
