Oh yea its trauma lol, I had a foxy plush and I kept it in the closet because I was mortified it would come to life and kill me. I eventually returned it because I couldn't stand the insomnia it gave me. I was 9-10 at the time
Honestly, every time I watched Tom and Jerry I'd get kinda pissed, cause let's be fair, Jerry is the real antagonist. Like I'd get mad at every character who was needlessly mean to Tom. He was trying his best!
The "Run the Gauntlet" one is the worst of this all probably, it messed me up a little bit and I'm in my 20s. To eliminate the curiosity so y'all don't look for it I'll just tell you what it is: A lot of it is very gross stuff like maggots in people's skin or a woman eating uh..let's just say a very old buildup of dirtiness on a dudes private parts, or people even cutting off their own private parts. The other half of what it is is just very depressing things because it's actually people dying. The worst one, which I think was also the last level, was a filmed torture/murder of an elderly man by these two teenage boys. So while I know people are probably curious, trust me you don't want to see. Thankfully also these boys got life in prison. Curiosity for shock videos will never go away from the internet and I myself will probably still be curious about certain scary things and end up searching them. However, trust me when I say this particular thing will only make you feel very sad and angry. Be better than me and don't seek these things. I was surprised to see this one in this video because it's not just a creepy kid's show episode or something, it feels like it doesn't fit here 😅. Plus the "I don't care how tough you think you are" may encourage people to get curious about what it is and seek it out... don't. It ruined my day pretty much.
Thanks for the explanation of what it has. Certainly is a far different beast from the rest of the list. Most of them were just off putting, but that one actually sounds horrifying. That and the stuff you could have come by on live leaks.
I think there's also a video amongst that relating to doing questionable things with poop too, so yeah... I'll never take that challenge because I don't want to end up like every other person who watched those videos
Who remembers that one part of the hashslinging slasher episode of spongebob where they said “nosferatu!” And then it showed nosferatu turning the lights on and off? That part used to scare me so badly when I was like 4-5.
Child's Play caused me such trauma to the extent that it led me to develop an intense fear of semi realistic dolls. I was like 2 when I was watching it with my parents and one of my aunts, I as a child would curse and threaten to kill my parents so my aunt took me to another room at put the movie on before locking the bedroom door where my parents and her would watch the movie. I couldn't move from the couch she set me on and I was petrified, about a year later we moved into an apartment building and in front of that building there was a store (if I remember correctly, it was reallyyyyy big). One day as we were going home I looked at the store's window and I saw a boxed chucky doll, it was around the same size as how chicky was portrayed in the movie and after that I would have constant panic attacks whenever we walked by the store. I remember not seeing it one day and going manic and it got even worse when I saw a family in front of us with one of the dolls. Even know I still can't be around semi realistic dolls but I got over my fear of chucky when I was 14 and watched a couple of movies and enjoyed them. But good lord that fear led me to having constant nightmares of being groped and clawed by chucky up until I was 6.
i was never scared by that stuff, a bit scary if you look at it for awhile but I was never too bothered. the jump scares terrified me but it wasn't the image, just the jumpscare itself. you could jumpscare me with a loud noise and a picture of a horse if you wanted lol. I was exposed to terrifying pictures at a young age, so I guess thats the reason? im lucky I never saw actual violence though.
For anyone looking for context to the "I'm not Tommy/I'm not Stu" thing, it was from an episode of Rugrats called "In the Dreamland" which involves Chucky having dreams and then being unable to distinguish dreams from reality. The Tommy one was from earlier in the episode where Chucky has a dream that ends with The Tommy, and the Stu one is at the end where Chaz finds Stu in his house. He wakes up shortly after. As for "I'm not Patrick", it's obvious from the low quality that it was a fake inspired by the "I'm not Tommy/I'm not Stu" thing.
I remember this one time I was in my creepy pasta phase as a kid and I was drawing pictures and for some reason I was so paranoid that Jeff, Jane, Smile Dog, Slenderman, and a bunch of other characters would come and kill me if I couldn’t draw them, so I was viciously drawing out a bunch of these creepy pastas. When I got to Jeff I couldn’t draw him for the life of me and I remember apologizing while crinkling up all of my bad drawings and going through a small stack of paper just to try and get a decent drawing...

A few of my own additions that literally nobody asked for: Bloody Gir. In retrospect, the story behind this one is actually really funny. At the time though, it really freaked me out watching the show and knowing that he could be hidden in any frame. God knows why that got to me but Dark Harvest didn’t. Talking Angela. Not the game itself, but the urban legend surrounding it. I vividly remember trying to interrogate Angela and get the person behind her to fess up. Chain letters/comments. I was always skeptical of them, and so I never actually shared any with my friends. Regardless, I would get extremely anxious after scrolling past them. I remember being like 10 and not being able to sleep because supposedly a little girl with black eyes was going to show up at midnight and kill me. Several parts of the Harry Potter series. I most vividly remember being afraid of the screaming book in Sorcerer’s Stone, and when Bathilda turned into a snake in Deathly Hallows. Candy Wife in The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack. Everything about that show was horrifying but I remember HATING Candy Wife. Everything about the 2012 “end of the world” thing. I never fully bought into it but I remember being on edge the whole day it was supposed to happen, and like the week or so leading up to it. And finally, That one time in Spongebob when Squidward’s toenail got ripped off. Just....... what the fuck man
@@LuvRyxn It was so gruesome though!! Even for one of those weird closeups. And I’ve always had an irrational fear of my nails getting torn out. Now that I think again it, The Splinter was significantly more traumatizing. I honestly think I blocked it out

Literally same. I think it’s scary for me because #1. The picture and the effects are just disturbing in general, #2. I’ve always been scared of animal creepy pastas. #3. Animals doing stuff that don’t seem really…natural? I don’t know how to explain this, but imagine an animal you would normally see walk on all 4s (like a dog) and then let’s say that animal gets up and walks on it’s back legs like it’s natural for that animal. And especially since dogs don’t really show a lot of emotion through their faces, it just makes it scarier.
Freddy Fazbear’s laugh isn’t scary. When the player hears that unsettling moaning when an animatronic sneaks into the office when the player is checking the cameras, leading to a jumpscare…now, that’s scary.
Yeah, I´m glad the internet has been less horrible for newcomers in these last years. I started browsing the internet when I was 4 in 2006, can say with confidence that I got jumpscared more than once and fell into some weird rabbit holes at times, sometimes not for my age. Hope there´s something to protect my future kids from the weird and creepy side of the internet

A few days later I had to go sleep in a tent for boy scouts or whatever. That image was still burned into my mind. That night I heard a dog barking in the distance and couldn’t go to sleep for most of the night.

As someone who grew up in generation Z, I can say that it was not a healthy "growing up" but it was a happy and authentic one. Of course, now days everyone knows that everyone knew about it and were as scared as I was - ok, I'll admit, some of it still gives me the creeps -. Guys, iceberg works this way, I think : - Top : almost everyone knows about it - Middle : Most people don't know about it - Bottom : Almost no one knows about it.
An iceberg isn't built around how scary things are or anything, it's a measurement of obscurity. Lowest levels have not a lot of people knowing, and higher tiers mean more people know it/its more common knowledge.

"Billy reverses history" most likely refers to the episode "the lich" where after taking a hit to the face from a candy guardian, billy is revealed to be the lich wearing Billy's body. If not, it's still a creepy scene.

I just jam out
"Gen Z Childhood Trauma"
Me, a 21 year old who knows almost everything on this iceberg:
You were either born in 1999 or 2000,which makes you gen z 😳
we're still apart of gen z, just like the first wave of it
@@wizardofthepacificocean6766 I always felt like gen z should be broken up into more parts because I feel like Zoomers are a entirely different alien race. I'm 24 but I don't consider my self a millennial because I wasn't part of the culture I was to young
I hate to break it to you. But you're apart of gen z
I'm 16
My personal childhood trauma is the movie "9"
My granny thought it was a kids movie because it was animated
I've had nightmares about this movie for like 3 years
Isn't 9 that one with the dolls And the big robot things?
@@heyjax7727 yes indeed
I actually really liked the movie as a kid. I already had an obsession with steampunk and robot type things so the “coolness” factor basically canceled out the creepiness.
I was never freaked out by movies like 9 or Caroline. But for some reason Spirited away freaked me out and gave me nightmare for months.
@@internetuser7365 in the scene on Caroline where the old ladies dance my parents covered my eyes 👀
39:42 I couldn't be more proud and excited to brag about being a massive fan
truestory
Here's the official time list for each section of the iceberg:
0:50, Top of the iceberg
16:09, Shallow waters
29:28, Close to the bottom of the iceberg
37:43, Bottom of the ice
51:37, Deep waters
1:01:02, Point of no return
1:10:02, The dark depths
Hope this helped out ^__^
@Fugh I got you! It’s at 42:07
which is part 3

I saw twisted grim
7:42 is the start of the tip, 0:50 is the sky.
Another childhood trauma: that freaking terminator dog from Wallace and Gromit: A Close Shave. It was just a direct reference to terminator but I was NOT ready for these things as a kid lol. Both the robot himself and his death freaked me out
YES
OH MAN- that was a repressed memory lmao. I loved Wallace and Gromit but that was legit terrifying
I believe that “Cell absorbs” is a disturbing scene where cell absorbs a civilian where all that remains is his clothes.
Yeah it's definitely that, God damn I can still hear the slurping sounds and the man's face as he falls apart
It was never on the nicktoons version but like it's dbz 0.0 allowed to get a bit weird sometimes
I never understood why piccolo didn't help him
@@comutakroqorian2.9 it would have been easier to wish him back which they did
i watched the evil elmo video a few years ago late at night, the ending scared me a little and i quickly switched it to an smg4 video but i went to bed a few seconds later
I bet the next generation would make a similar video like this and it will have Doki Doki Literature Club in it
im watching through this right now and also a huge ddlc fan how could i not think about it oh my god
ddlc is more towards younger gen z and older gen alpha. still traumatised some gen z
@@megamind2286 yes i know, i played it when i was like 12 or something but it didnt left any real trauma or anything xD which is kinda interesting because i got really scared about shit like fnaf and it would happen again if i rewatched videos of it and yeah i never played it myself sooo theres that
the difference is that ddlc is artistically done, while a lot of these things don’t have a lot of deep meaning behind them
The walten files too!
