Wow that was an incredibly educational video. Actually talked us through step by step how to make and use asphalt. Much better than the other idiotic videos here that just videotape trucks laying it all down and I dont really see anything cuz the trucks are in the way. Thanks.
Asphalt does not get hard in one hour it starts a cooling period with the right heated beds the asphalt can stay hot for over 24 hrs in a dump truck of course the right term would be better served right out of the oven and weather does play a big factor of asphalt the only harm from that could come from cooled asphalt is a ruff surface if installed correctly it still would hold its value speaking from 4th generation exp and 20 years in the business.
@@vasutest123 Granite is only used in areas that have an abundance of granite. Generally they use whatever stone is available. I have even seen crushed seashells used in asphalt where stone was hard to find (in Florida).

Is the stone used in asphalt always granite pieces or other minerals can be used as well?
