A long time ago when I still lived near Detroit, I had a co worker that told me he loved Mexican food, So one evening after work I took him and his wife to Mexicantown to the Mexican Villiage restaurant and bought them dinner and a few drinks, When we got there and were seated, he didn't know what to order because it wasn't the same as Taco Bell... I kid you not, I, as well as his wife laughed our asses off! Well, he did grow up in the corn fields of Nebraska so He had no clue, LOL!
I was literally gonna suggest you checking out southwest Detroit/Mexicantown! Glad to see y’all in my state. Michigan gets a lot of hate (myself included) but honestly it’s not that bad. Be safe though you guys and enjoy your trip!!!
Yes you made it to Mexican town. Now tomorrow take Katie to Ann Arbor. We have a big football 🏈game Saturday night @ the Big House aka Michigan Stadium. Great tailgating & 100,000 + fans will be there. Go Blue!
