Stealing $50,000 in those days would be the equivalent to $1 million dollars today. It was well worth the risk. If I had lived back then I would have loved to join an outlaw gang of train robbers. For a few thousand dollars you could set up a ranch, buy some cattle and you’re in business. Much better opportunities to earn or steal money in those days. Today sucks. If you’re poor….you will likely stay that way for the rest of your life.
Have you even played Red Dead? Most robberies were hard to pull off, most trains had guards, bank robberies often failed because of angry townsfolk, you could be hanged for stealing horses and most stagecoach robbers were tracked down and caught. Armed bandits were more often shot than arrested.
Next time can you spare us the horrendously overused and stupid "make the old portrait come alive and wink at us" software embellishment? The old portraits are just fine the way they are. No, really! We actually don't need them to wink at us!
That must be a great way to make a living... every one of them are taking a nap together in the middle of the day! Yeah not so much. Got a taste of what they gave.

I know that there are only so many photos of the 'Wild West' but you're recirculating them faster than Doc Holiday could pull the trigger. I've unsubscribed because of lack of content. I see the same photos in all your video postings. Life is too short to feed on the same old 'food' every day. Sorry!
That seems a bit of a stupid reason to unsubscribe. I read and watch a lot of true crime stuff and they all use the exact same photos because it's all that's available but all the stories are told differently
With all the money they stole you would think they would have bought a ranch in another state or other investments. I guess they just pissed it away. .
I love it..interesting and fun...
Thanks
nothing like hearing about these outlaws and lawman! great job
Amazing wonderful knowledgeable and unforgettable
Great video and great music, Arkansas Traveller 👌
The Kid is sitting with his back to the wall wearing his trademark topper
A lot of very poor people back then. Tough life. A lot of these guys had parents that died when they were very young. They had little if any guidance.

@John Martlew It was a joke a-hole.
Nothing wrong with that!
Personally, I like the enlivenements.
When they stole something as little as $2000.00
it was a big amount back then.

So the snapshot posted shows Dalton gang with arrows and a circle around the face of one of them. Would you like to explain what that's about?

Can't Hear for the Music in the Background, it's to Loud
Many of these photographs are not related to the story.
my grand grandfather was train robber and outlaw in 1800s
Why does the two pic of Pat Garrett only four years apart look like two different people. Doesn’t make sense.
Weird, tortured English commentary. Who writes these scripts?
Where's Jesse James the most notorious bank/train/stagecoach robber and outlaw?
Clever, at 4:20 using a mirror for a side view in one photograph.
True on all accounts, but some of them just did it for the thrill of it all.
I don't think the early 1900's is considered the 'Old West'.
Arizona was still a territory.

The Dalton's are cousins on my mother's side.
Note, many of your photos are used o et and over. You need “new” old west pics
What a great way to spend your Life as a True 'Merican O.G. Triple G Thuggg.
