Sad this happened and I don’t think the answer is Islamophobia, which I imagine will further be on the rise. I appreciated hearing his perspective. All non Christian religions/ideologies - from Islamism, to Judaism (particularly this one) to Hinduism to atheism, agnosticism, etc. are all historically/systemically oppressed and discriminated against with less power then Christianity historically and systemically (speaking from a US perspective).
