Congratulations to Forever Young, Jockey Sakai, and President Fujita for winning! Cygames should add him and Meydan Racecourse to Uma Musume!

If Fierceness does not fire, this may be your Kentucky Derby winner. His only thing is he does not like dirt kicked up, so he has to negotiate a trip accordingly. His internal fractions are slower than Fierceness (based on my stopwatch and each pole), but he comes home pretty close (although Fierceness' Florida Derby was a faster final 1/8th ). Regardless, American tracks are tighter so he should move up a bit...he looks like he has heart and keeps coming. I never liked the other horses coming from Dubai to run at the Kentucky Derby (too big of an ask and a turnaround)...this one I have warmed up to.

I agree with everything you said. I was estimating TO Password’s win and came up with something like 85 87 / 84 for his pace numbers with a speed figure of maybe 91. Complete overmatch and non-factor for the Derby.
Not so sure about Forever Young. Agree with all of your points. Hard to make a case for the contender coming out of Dubai. However, I’m thinking he ran something like 93 97 / 102 and maybe a figure around 101-103. I think that might be second best of the field.
I have Fierceness projected at 101 109 / 105 for a figure of 106 in the Derby. Clearly the best if he runs his race. I usually don’t like the favorite, but he is clearly the class of the field if he runs well. I’m a little concerned there is some quality speed on his outside that might not beat him but could make his trip uncomfortable, which could lead to him tiring, thus opening the race to someone off the pace at a big price. Worthy favorite though.

Well he better like slop kick-back because that's what's on the menu for Saturday. Besides he barely beat Book Em Danno?? Pass. But full disclosure, I will be rooting for him like I rooted for Derma last year. And I also think Derma was a better horse.

He doesn't like sand on his head, so Ryusei Sakai have to be careful how run him. Its weakness is that it cannot race in formation.
