My first memory of Warne was literally the ball of the Century. I was watching as a young boy and I'd never seen anything like it. I remember looking up at my father as the replay played (who would've been heart broken to know Shane Warne only outlived him by 2 years) who looked straight at me bemused and then with a rye smile said "That one's trouble lad." God...
Obviously been watching an insane amount of Warne content over the last week or so, and still, hung on to every word uttered over this 90 minute podcast. Thanks for the energy, enthusiasm and passion shown here lads. The world is poorer by one genius, but it's nice to be able to celebrate everything that he gave us.
Absolutely brilliant Jarrod and Jon. Listened to the audio podcast last Friday but just had to watch and listen to it again here. Such a great conversation and magical memories. Well done boys! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Actually Warne bowled beautifully in those 5 overs in Colombo. Seeing a young leggie land the ball so consistently and getting huge drift and spin is very rare. He was always destined for greatness. What he added was the cricket smarts later.
My first memory of Shane Warne is people getting excited about India's chances in WC2003 as Warne is ruled out due to a failed drug test. Second memory is on similar lines about Warne being part of the strong Aus team that toured India in 2004 & Sachin was not available. Eventually Aus won the series
Ohmigawd I love the content but then I have a look at the guys - the one wearing the cap is effusive and only mildly annoying but the guy with the glasses spends his time running his fingers thru his greasy looking hair and then proceeds to suck at his fingernails afterwards like a 3-yr old when he’s 60 if he’s a day gross 🤢 - how cringeworthy - I loved Shane ❤️btw as we all did.

We all went .."No? What? No!". Well articulated.
