@@rifkiaffandi9427 Hey sure, well I like to replicate the natural tone as much as possible for this kind of playing. I either use an acoustic amp (Phil Jones CUB AG-100 Amp - seen there in the video), or I just run the Tele straight into my DAW (Ableton) on my laptop where I add a touch of reverb, and maybe tweak the EQ a little, but that's basically it. :)
@@NikDaviesGuitar @Nik Davies Aha, now I understand it!! So, it's all just natural and at the end of the day, it's all about that telecaster goodness!!! Alright, man, Thanks for the info!! 🙏💕 Cheers!
@@Koba5884_ This is an acoustic amp that accurately replicates the sound of the guitar without adding additional colours to the tone. Recommend if that's what you're looking for 👍
@@NikDaviesGuitar Exactly what I’ve been longing for! It might helps how I want to sound like. Thank you for your detailed explaining and appreciate your swift response. love and respect from Japan😌
hey there nice playing!! I have the same amp as well but for some reasons when I plug in my strat, there's always an annoying high frequency background noise going on. Did you experience anything similar when you use the CUB with your tele?
Hey! Hmm, funny you say that. It was years ago now, so I can't remember exactly. But after a few months of buying it new, it started buzzing. It was just about within 1 year warranty so I took it back, and they fixed it (can't remember now what it was they replaced) - but it's been fine since.. 🤔
I was listening to your banjo playing and now this! Super nice chords and sweet tone! 😊Thanks for sharing your talent, Nik.
Thank you :)
Really digging your clean tone on these electric jazz videos lately.
Thanks Eddie :D
Great playing! Love the color of that tele too.
Thanks. Me too! :D
Oh man, what a sound! I really dig it!
Oh yeah!
@@NikDaviesGuitar Hi man, I'm super excited and curious about it and so perhaps could you tell us your Tele setup? briefly or otherwise. Thanks🙏💕

really diggin your play and sweet tone, what stand are you using with the amp?
Thanks. I'm just using a stand from a drum kit!

Really nice tone, is the stock pickup? how you remove the twangy in the high E string?
Stock pick up yes. I guess I play quite lightly so don't get many twangs
