I'm all for new IP's and indi company figures, I've bought a couple in the past. I've noticed that a lot of the indi stuff that Anthony shows is anthropomorphic animal warrior stuff; not my cup of tea, but still very cool looking figures. I love to see tis kind of stuff on the channel.
It’s amusing to me a giant lizard monster in bulky armor has better range of motion in some key spots than any Hasbro Spider-Man figure lol, he actually moves a lot better than I expected. Haven’t seen this line before and I have to say this is really nice, and for an indie line the price honestly is fairly reasonable imo
the best thing about your reviews that many others don't do.... MEASURE!! i have looked around to see figures height and yours is perhaps one of the few that does it. which is good because other channels may do size comparison but they usually compare to same figures or similar lines, leaving a whole lot of other lines wondering if it will fit size-wise.
That's why i measure. Comparisons are very specifically useful but not broadly. Happy it helps.

I backed the Kickstarter for these guys. Got 2 figures from each wave. My lizard people came in and I absolutely loved them.
The Konclusive Imperial Sentry comes with the purple armor. Thats one of the ones I got. Wish I had gotten this guy.
Mythic Legions is still doing well. Quality is still good. And got these guys to go with my legions.
So that purple version is seen in the Royal Sentry. Super cool looking figure. I think it was only through kickstarter. Also on their website right now the price is 39.99 for their deluxe figures during presale.
I've said this before and I do collect indie figures if they look awesome, don't care if it is not an established IP I like.. I have the T-Rex from Axxy Toys and Veteran Williams from Fury Planet and boy they're so cool. Despite that I've been thinking about retiring from collecting altogether, but these kind of stuff won't let me. Like, I do have some Marvel and DC stuff still but these kind of stuff really appeals to me, figures with creative designs, high detail (out of all the things I've sold from my collection Neca is one of the brands I struggle to let go the most because I just love their stuff as well). I might consider getting this figure just because I've been liking this antropomorphic creature concept. I hope we still get them with different concepts, esthetics and eras.
i don't care if it's a new IP or not. if it fits in with other stuff i collect, then it's just another part of those established IPs. this line would fit in nicely with Conan, or Masters of the Universe, or Flash Gordon, etc.
My thought process for action figures/ collecting is “does it look cool?” And if it looks cool then I’d probably buy it/ start to collect them

Always down for new and cool toys, so new IP is always welcome. I usually try and pick up at least one figure from a new line/company if it looks interesting, partially to check it out and partially to promote variety and competition. This looks good, and I was already eyeing the Cthulhu-wizard thingy. Solid and fair review, thanks as always. Looking forward to your upcoming line of toys! 👍
Been watching new IP’s closely lately. Nostalgia is a glider and eventually will crash. This one looks great and I’ve wanted lizard man figures since I was a kid.
There's some fantastic looking indie figures out there and this guy looks great too.
These look amazing and I really enjoy fantasy and anthropomorphic animals, so I’ll definitely be getting some of these next time they are available.

I'm a semi-recent entrant to collecting and I find that the biggest barrier for me getting into it, besides the general pricing inflation issues, is the lack of IP variety at low-mid range price points. It feels like to have any expectation of variety your only options are whatever neca is licensing and shelling out for high end Asian, soft goods figures. I definitely am interested in new IP, but honestly I'd support any IP that's outside the big toy franchises and neca's usual r rated horror stuff.
The thumbnail for this review was the principle reason for watching your video. Nothing personal, its just I don't watch your reviews on products I don't collect. But the look of this product was eye-catching. The detail on this figure is worthy of its price. Yet the engineering of the figure is impressive beyond anything the big action figure manufacturers provide. Thanks for your efforts.
Any action figure manufacturer asking for an AnthonysCustoms review knows exactly what to expect. Objectivity and useful. It is the same with what your viewers expect as well. It is what you have done so well for us in the community. Have the calluses disappeared yet? I see the paint came off your hands. Drywall mud splatters on the pants still?

For your question, I love new IPs. Especially if they're a collector's grade figure I adore having some new, unique characters/creatures up on my shelf. I've got my preorders locked in for both Savage Crucible and Almighty Legends because I adore supporting indie creators with new, unique ideas.
To add on though, I DO Prefer figures be in a 6 inch/7 inch scale even if they're big boys. I try to keep my stuff all in a similar scale with few exceptions (IE The one or two Hot Toys I have)

All in time. Right now the focus is on wave 1 - the Lemurians. Wave 2 will be next - the Barbarians, followed by wave 3 - the Pirahnoids. Each wave will have a separate solicitation preceding its respective manufacturing dates. By the way, the Fathom Scout is one of my personal favorites. The translucent plastic really takes that figure to the next level!

@@Hilltopperpete Wave one and two were part of the kickstarter, but they haven't yet been solicited via retailers (Savage Crucible website, Big Bad Toy Store, etc.) That will happen still for each wave before their releases. You haven't missed the Parahnoids! There will be opportunities to buy them still.

Love the review as always. Great to see you review an Indy line. To be honest there was a switch that went off in my head I was collecting Marvel Legends, GIJOE classified and black series. I was getting tired of the issues gummy parts lack of accessories, etc. I saw this lines Kickstarter and Animal Warriors of the Kingdom. I picked up an A.W.O.K. Figure and they were just fun to pose and have a great look. These are the 2 lines I collect now. They are fantastic and fun to story tell in my photography. Both are top notch. This line is very dynamic in poses and well balanced. Great line. I. am and Indy collector now just better quality…

I like the Up and Coming Indy lines they seem to be more of a labor of love for them, compaired to what hasbro is cranking out. As for integrity I would say its fine as long as your honest and upfront about your opinion, if you trash an item simply because you see them as compition, that would be kinda shady.
Can't wait for your line to come out already. I'm so curious to see what you put out. So far what I'm seeing from your Rival Collectibles line, it looks good. Indie companies are smart to send you samples for tips on how to improve their lines. I honestly don't know why they don't bring you on as a consultant. As for new IPs, if they're cool and done well, I'm all for it. Problem is, I'm not impressed with a lot of the ones coming out.

I've heard the character cardss (randomly packed" have game stats for something like D&D games.
This lizard man character certainly fits in well with fantasy settings.

I just got my Slate figure today, and character build set, can't wait to break it out and dress him up.
Question of the Day: I like both new and established IP, but I only support crowd funds for new IP like this because... this is what crowd funding is supposed to be for. Not billion dollar companies that put all the cost on the consumer for collector desired items. Upcoming companies with original products will catch my attention if I think the product looks cool.
I think these are a home run.
As a newly started collector, i love new IP's and character designs. I liked the 6 Inch Fortnite figures because of their unique designs although i mostly collect SW black series and gi joe classified
Price is a concideration for me, but these Savage Crucible figs look amazing. His weapons look metallic and not just like soft moulded plastic.
10/10 for looks. It's just some of the articulation that's a little hampered.
I don't collect a lot (compared to most) , but I try to mainly support small companies regardless of nostalgia. Which has been relatively easy based on the smaller companies like Jada and Spero Toys.
I was hoping you would review this. I'm really interested in lizard/dinosaur warrior guys and thought it looked pretty cool.
I'm not a fan of the thin necks, but they help with articulation. The figures look bettere with the armor on.
The thing that I keep in mind when buying a new line is how it looks with my current collection. That is why scaling is improtant to me.
If I can mix it into my Collection that's great. Either as a random civilian, monster, or goon. I'm not investing $50 into figures I plan to use as joobronis for my collection.
Everything else is group to to the side and doesn't get much use.
Question of the day: I like new IP's, of course it depends on my taste which one I prefer or not, for example I dive right into Astrobots line even tho I'm not collecting robot figures per se.
Some more accessories would be good. Figure looks great! To me, it would look nice if the arm and leg parts around the joints were a little less cuff-like. That said, I love the more natural looking joints.
I think Mcfarlane is getting closer to a good ab articulation. The new Plastic man wave has a couple good articulation figs. The Aquaman actually blew my mind with how good it is. He has great torso articulation and head/neck artic even tho he has long hair
I'm primarily interested in collecting characters I already have some familiarity with; but I do have just a couple indie figures too. I'm open to collecting more, but the two main things preventing that are first, the price; and second, there aren't actually that many indie figures with designs I'm interested in collecting.
I mainly collect female figures; and I guess as with lines from big companies, many indie lines focus on male figures too. At least the lack of options is easy on the wallet for me 😛. (Hope you have some cool female figures in your line, Anthony!)
As for our lizard friend; not something I'm personally interested in, but looks very good for what it is. I especially like that his tail is articulated and not bendy wire or something. That just feels so much more like an action figure to me. 🙂

I like indie lines but I’m picky on what I buy. I try to focus on a few lines.
Also I’m happy you are reviewing more stuff. Indie is such an unknown we need someone who is brutally honest reviewing them.
For the price point, the metallics could use more contrast to bring out the details. If there are washes and it's just not apparent on camera, then the application's too light; and if there aren't, then they could benefit from some. The bronze in particular looks too flat in places. Mythic Legions has the same issue; at least, from where I stand as someone coming from the minipainting side.
Regardless, very nice to see this review. Been following this line and in general, seeing the indies progress is always interesting. Even in the communal aspect, the discourse is frequently more interesting than when talking about big names thanks to a natural amount of healthy skepticism (by comparison, conversing with idk Marvel Legends fans is like taking a trip to Stupid Central). Hope more indie products come your way.
I’m happy I donated to the Kickstarter. As much as I love known IP’s, I’ve been leaning towards the independent stuff lately.
Can't wait to get mine, but massively disappointed the armor isn't purple and gold like the artwork and cards show. 100% going to wait next time instead of pre-ordering.

If a company can make a cool-looking figure at a fair price, I might be able to find a place for it.

Very good video (as always) and really cool figure. Im totally into fantasy theme and looking forward to buy this. Sadly, Im in Europe, so who knows when... Anyway, the card is DnD 3.5 ruleset, monster stats! :)
Hopefully this company will keep releasing these figures.

It takes time to build up an army and needs to be spread out over some time.
These are too expensive to get all of them all at once.
It's much easier to get into a new fantasy ip. These guys could mix easy with mythic legions warriors of the animal kingdom or some of the dnd lines. And like you said, the scale is easy to fudge. Who knows how big a lizard person is supposed to be.
I always love getting figures from new companies, I don’t collect figures because of the characters they depict i just like good figures. If they pose good and look good while doing it i don’t care what ip the figure is of
These look like they'd go well with the Axytoys dino dudes.
If the back of the head wasnt so bulbous I would give this figure a 10/10 just based on looks alone. The level of detail is amazing and the paint job looks spot on for the most part. The tail is too small too. A bigger tail would look so much better
We need new IPs because without them, our culture stagnates. My Savage Crucible figures and accessory set are due to arrive today, looks like I'll be very happy with my stuff! I'm so looking forward to the Wave 3 Mermen now!
I like good figures regardless of the IP. I did look into these at BBTS after this review but the pre orders are all sold out.
I’m into new IP as long as the figures are done well. I’d rather have this savage crucible lizard man I know nothing about than another marvel legends figure with no paint slapped on a Bucky cap mold

Hi sir Anthony. hope you review another mythic legions/cosmic legions especially if its on 2.0 body. And ask the question how the audience/collectors feel about the indie company/third parties gradually leaning towards making animal like/warrior figures. Im trying to sell my marvel legends and MCF (not megafigs) now and try to buy axie toys/mythic/5k/neca DND etc. that can be can be sync even they are different toyline. 😊
I'm interested in things that look cool and are well made I like fantasy and super heroes and transformers and giant robots and science fiction really just about anything if it looks like its done well
new ip all the way. i love it when new companies bring something new to the industry or never done before.
I'm not into new ips I like certain franchises & it's good enough for me except your line coming out anthony

Strangely, I'm more into new IP than established ones these days. The Chinese scene has been exploding and tons of gorgeous figures are coming out like Furay Planet and others. Just seems more fun personally to mix different lines than to keep buying the same cheap (ish) domestic figures that are kind of crap, just because I already got a lot of them (ML).
This line looks very primising. Objectively good figures, just not really my personal taste of fantasy armor + lizards. I'm on a roll with those various animal-warrior type figures from oversees, so I'll probably still dive in this line just because more animal fighters the better. If they branch out to other creatures at all, I'll be on board.

Established IPs are great.
As long as quality, distribution, packaging, and pricing are at least reasonable.
Also background story needs to be good.
Zero interest in agenda pushing. (To be blear...that means no agendas or messages from weird people.)
