"Surf didn't get deadly until they started writing together" I truly believe this too, Surf has always had his moments and been nice but I believe Roc, Chess and even EZ to some degree was helping Surf put his rounds togehter, you can clearly hear a huge difference in style, wording and flows from Pre JJ Surf and Post JJ Surf which sounded heavily influenced by the guys I just named, I said this at the time before anyone exposed guys writing together and people said I was bugging, later it came out that these guys were all writing together including Surf, so it wasn't a surprise. Verb is also right in saying Surfs record overall is probably very poor, he may even have more losses and debatables than wins, I'd be willing to bet he does, however, he still has some of the greatest Battles of all time, some of the most memorable lines, moments and still found a way to be one of them guys despite not having the best record. You have to respect that
